So now familiarity and cohesion is important?    ok...

To block, I think. Same reason JJAW is active.

Hopefully Watkins can line up for us as well as JJAW. It's a high bar to reach but with enough effort I think he can get there.

I love how guys on Jax are dancing on a TD down 31-3.

People need to get over the term "Upside"  and "Potential" Take the better proven player, plain and simple.

Both are sick, Waddle just looks sicker when I’ve seen them at their best.

Why is Jason Huntley even on the team?

Honestly with Reagor, Fulgham, Jeffery, Ward, Ertz and Goedert, I not expecting a ton of snaps by Watkins/JJaw anyways.

Jacquet is out today.

Oh. Great. Plenty of Maddox then.

If you are going to lose...might as well do it right.

It's like we're doing the George Costanza "He got FIRED!" routine.  We're just more successful at this point than he was.

I'm trying to add tape of his from the LSU game. Not only was he burning EVERYONE, he had this amazing grab where he jumped up in traffic and made the catch of the year. The guy isn't just speed. He fights for the ball. Amazing route runner as well. He's gonna be amazing.

I agree about all that but I'm just worried about him taking hits from NFL players at that weight.

Hightower got open too much last week, apparently

It's pretty sad how many reps Alshon and Peters took away from the young guys who NEED some

I was wondering the same thing today about him and also Corey Clement. Clement never does anything. They should have released him a while ago.

There was a article on this a few months ago. More so he is someone for the future to grow. they feel he is a better option over Scott with his recing and return abilities. Dont see him going anywhere for a few years.

Does Tomlin not have a coaching tree? Whenever I hear of one it's always about AR or BB

That’s my concern. No muscle, rail thin and not particularly fast as is. Hightower has 15 pounds on him and everyone is saying he needs to add weight to not get pushed around at this level. He’s dominating at the college level but I don’t know how well it will translate.

I hear ya but Smith is tall at least.  But he does look like a stick figure.

I think Smith could be a nice #2 for someone.  Kinda like how Torrey Smith was for us in 2017 and how Mike Wallace and Djax were supposed to be if not injured. Chase is a better option for a #1 WR.

I wonder if we will get Alshon playing at 20% speed today, or at his usually comfortable 10%?  As for the rest, it would be very Eagles like to have one of those games and ruin the draft position.  I just can't stand the Aints or their ish, so beating them would feel good.

Not really, no. Most of his coaches are hired from being on other teams. Hes not getting people promoted that he brought in from ground up.

I would say this, who ever is the WR coach does an amazing job. They are a true WR factory and have been for a long time. You can add Vikings to that list as well.

David Akers son is the punter for UCLA.  Didn't know that.

Man we have been going through kickers every since akers.

Hightower is taller than Smith

I thought Jake was a keeper since he was gold for the long kicks but since he was paid he's kind of sucked

It would be the most Howie thing ever for Quez to look like the Eagles best WR today knowing he spent the entire season not playing.

Against my better judgement i want to watch the game.  Mainly to check out hurts.  Specifically the combination of hurts and doug and if they get into sinc and flow and start putting good drives together.  I dont even need to see points scored.  Just the semblance of a potential fluent offensive scheme and sound situational play calling and fundamental execution.

need a stream like to watch the game though so if anyone has the hook up pm me please

Dan Bailey. He has the yips.

Yeah that's fair. I guess they didn't want to subject him to the waiver wire. I don't know if I necessarily agree that he's a better option than Scott today, but maybe down the road he will develop and replace Scott in that role.

He used to be near automatic.
