Someone needs to convince me that our backup LB's and DB's aren't better than the starters.

They talk about the Jake missed FG, but forget the layup Lutz missed

Just now, Sack that QB said:

Good coverage by Seymour just a hair off.

Yeah, for 2020 NFL passing standards, that was actually quite good coverage.  He got beat off the break, made up the ground, and made it a really difficult catch.

That's not a high bar.

No actually.  I don't think Slay or Maddox would have managed better coverage on that play.

Howie can walk into traffic at rush hour. This abomination is his creation.

thanks doug that was on your failure as a hc/oc

Play effing cover 2, keep Hill in the pocket....

The best argument for firing Doug is the constant issue with injuries. Some of these guys come to Philly with zero issues and then wind up getting injured every week. Some of it is coincidence sure, but it's almost everybody.

Thanks, wife and I are both sick she's sicker than me. Rapid test came back negative.

Just the flu or something else? That’s great it’s not COVID though.

I’m done with Schwartz. He refuses to ever adjust.

Their entire secondary is out with injuries...

This could be a franchise-changing 4th quarter

As f-ing shocking as Wentz’s regression is to me, as big or bigger is Doug’s as a playcaller, if he’s the guy calling that SuperBowl. Reich shouldn’t have this much of an impact. You can still utilize the same ideas. It’s just gone to ish

Hard to disagree with that to be fair.

Good to hear, but be wary with those rapid tests. I have a friend who was feeling sick, got one done, came back negative, went to get tested again, and came back positive.

Glad to hear that.   Take care of yourself and the wife.   Hydrate (with OJ, not bourbon).

Releasing Will Parks looks like a smart call doesn't it?

Yes, but what many people have been calling for ALSO sucks and is backwards.  And while this is what many have been calling for, I will reiterate that it sucks and is backwards.

Hurts is doing a respectable job throwing the football.  That's what a QB does.  Let him do it.  I can count on one hand how many times they let him sit in the pocket and read a defense all day.

Do we really want to commit to a smoke and mirrors offense for the long term future?

I’m talking about the pre snap motion and moving the pocket. That does not preclude you from throwing down field.

And here's where punchable face Payton makes his adjustments and takes Gym Shortz to school in the 2nd half.  Saints are starting to roll.

Thanks, Jake, for missing that momentum building FG at the end of the half.

Thanks, Doug, for being obvious as Hell on a 4th down QB sneak.  Might as well have sent them a telegram letting them know what the play was, because they were expecting and ready for it.

Unless someone on O or D pulls a big game changing play out of their arse then this game is slipping away at this point.

Howie Long finally spoke out about it recently saying it’s not just bad luck. They’re doing something in the offseason that is negatively impacting the season

Do we not have a punter on the roster?

I guess that depends on your goals...

Glad you guys are ok.

He had a sack today as well

I want to see them ask Hurts to pass his way out of this.  No runs, no screens short of the sticks.  Read the defense and make a throw.
