Lol Doug wont commit to Hurts in the PC

Hurts is starting, without question.  He just wants to enjoy the win without the drama for a day or two.

The O looked far more creative this week than it has all season.   The stuff we've been calling for got called and while it was not perfect, it looked a lot better than it has been.  There was a different energy out there

Wentz washers waiting for hurts to have a bad game when he is a rookie they are going to happen.  Wentz had 12 bad games in a row as a 5 year starter

And has played like a league mvp

hurts looked like taysum hill

The level for good QB play is so skewed with this team because of how sluggish we've watched this offense play for the past two seasons now. So if we see a guy come in and complete a few passes in a row or break the pocket and pick up a first down, he looks like the messiah. That crossing route to Reagor where he ran for like 30 yards after the catch is a routine, weekly play for most professional and college teams and happens multiple times a game, and it felt like that was the first time we saw something like that since 2017. Hurts threw for 160 yards with just above 50% completion percentage. The only thing he did better than Wentz today was throw the ball away when nothing was there, not take stupid sacks, or have multiple turnovers.

That’s all we asked for...

This one was too obvious

I'm glad Hurts played well because I don't want the rookie to fail. I'm only pissed that Doug finally did the things we've been asking for now for months. It's just irritating that he finally did these things only after he put Hurts in

Doug Pederson wins a SB with Nick Foles. The offense looked significantly better today with a rookie 2nd round pick Hurts than it had with Wentz all season. It's almost like Wentz could be the problem.

The blitz read and quick throw for the TD is a play that Wentz is not capable of.

How you gonna say that when Hill was right there on the same field looking worse???

He's really hurt inside

I hope that no one is confused by this win and thinks that this isn't still an extremely flawed football team, from top to bottom.   This game was the case of a blind squirrel finding a nut.

How we win this game against the #1 defense and people are STILL negative. You can’t be happy for a good win? We beat a playoff team and it could affect their seeding so they needed this game.

They can be competitive if Doug stays with tonights play calling.

I suspect he will revert back to his old form

🤣 that's funny

Funny and true.  But I do like him over Alshon, but gotta catch the ball.  The back shoulder drop last week is why he is riding pine as I think it was the 3rd game in a row with a drop.

Follow along. We sacrificed draft position for a meaningless win.

You will hear the following excuses all week long:

- Doug called better plays

- They ran the ball more

- The rest of the offense played better

What makes it funny is that all-of-the-above usually happens with better QB play.  So they're actually making Wentz look even worse with these lame, old, stale excuses.  So let them keep at it.

Doug's dewshy disposition didn't change with the win.  He still came off as a total d-wad at the post-game presser.

This thread is still riddled with Wentz apologists even after the Eagles beat a 10-2 team with a rookie 2nd round QB.

F draft position loser. That’s a loser mentality you play to win the game dammit.

Next week vs Cards will be very interesting. They have a QB that plays exactly like Hurts so they have a slight advantage in defensive game planning. It will be a fun game to watch for sure.

For the reason they looked about the same. Hill has won some games too running. And you cant win a title that way

Yep, it's laughable. Doug didn't forget how to call plays the first 12 weeks and then all of a sudden figure out how to this week.
