I honestly don't know why it is but google "OK symbol" and every result is about how it now means white supremacy....I remember the media coming down hard on some Cubs fan for making the symbol on his thigh (like 99% of us have done at some point in our lives) and he was just smeared all over for it calling him racist.  It's just silly anymore.

Known white supremacists have been making the ok symbol for more than a year, they usually do it covertly or below the waste or in a way that doesn't look deliberate

They deny it but then again have zero legit reason when questioned why did you hold your hand in the ok symbol on your knee for a  while televised congressional hearing???

You fail when you bring up 2017. He hasn't been the same QB since then it's now almost three full seasons since. Wentz was average until the last few games of the season in 2019 when they played horrible teams down the stretch. If facts are ridiculous to you, then so be it because here is yet another one that doesn't serve you well.

Doug Pederson is now 11-2 without Carson Wentz as his starting QB...

This is an easy game to play:  Doug's record with Reich and Defilipo- including playoffs- 23-12 and a SB victory - 18 of the victories Carson is the starting QB. 11 of those victories with Carson as QB in 2017 the Eagles averaged  36.72 points per game.   Doug's record without Reich and Defilipo including playoffs: 23-23-1.  In the 23 victories since Reich and Defilipo left the Eagles average 25.6 points per game.  So without Reich and Defilipo Doug is solid .500 coach and has turned his 36.72 point per game QB into what we see now.

Maybe what we both need to acknowledge is that neither is good enough now.  Both had their moments but together, on their own, together they dont work.

Yet sports leagues and the NCAA are encouraging the black power symbol on many helmet stickers and patches...I didn't want to start a whole other conversation that belongs in CVON but the double standards are ludicrous.

The entire initiative has been littered with hypocrisy and phony virtue-signaling, but for the sake of keeping stuff on topic in here I'll leave it with that.

I hope that no one is confused by this win and thinks that this isn't still an extremely flawed football team, from top to bottom.   This game was the case of a blind squirrel finding a nut.

We got Capt.Obvious over here!

I was kidding ya Wentz yuppy

Hurts accuracy was fine. He threw the ball out of bounds a lot to avoid sacks, and that nice completion to Ertz that was taken away from him. He had that bad throw that should’ve been intercepted, but I don’t know how you come away with him being a bad passer after today. He did pretty good for his first NFL start against the #1 defense.

Has anyone seen Travis Fulgham?  11 snaps today?

What do we have in Duke Riley?  He's flashed in multiple games this year.

Can Josh Sweats knee hold up as a starter?  He could be a 12 sack guy if so.

Why does Reagor look so slow for being touted a fast guy?

Whomever oversaw the transformation of this Bills offense has done a remarkable job.  I know it sure isn't Mcdermott, so I have to assume it's their OC, who has spent time with Saban and Belichick and has really made his rounds across the league.

If that guy isn't at the top of the list, who else possibly could be?  Collinsworth stealing my thought process.

Random thoughts...

* Hurts was good relative to expectation and opponent, but much of what he did wasn’t anything I feel optimistic about moving forward. He almost exclusively took off after his first read, whether it was due to wide open running lanes or simply bailing the pocket far too early. It’s fine for a game or two, but I want to see him sit and go through progressions from a clean pocket. Don’t put too much stock into the "zero sacks” thing since he didn’t really sit in the pocket all that much. I also thought his arm looked really weak.

* Helluva performance by the defense. Sweat, Cox and Hargrave balled out. Barnett had a great spin move on Armstead that didn’t result in a sack because Hill got rid of the ball to his first read, but it was impressive.

* I skimmed back through the game thread. The Schwartz hate is hilarious. We had basically nothing left in the secondary and some were complaining. Weird.

* Doug called an interesting game, but I still hated his situational playcalling.

* I see E45 is complaining about Reagor’s development. I understand it to an extent, but Hurts didn’t give him much of a chance today. His deep shot to Reagor was a really poor throw. He couldn’t get it up the field at all. His usage was much better though.

* Sanders’ home run ability is obvious and makes it so confusing why he hasn’t been given more carries to pop those big plays.

* Man, we had some bad tackle attempts today. Gross.

As an organization we can’t have them both back next year regardless.  They just don’t work well together. If tonight is the offense Doug wants to run then Wentz needs to be moved ASAP. They just both can’t be here next year. The organization needs to pick one and move forward.

Daboll has been killing it. Fans in here would complain about how little he runs it at times.

Reagor is starting to remind me of Maclin without the routes.  Maclin didn't have the burning speed as advertised...ran a disappointing 40 at the combine that turned out to be consistent with his speed in the NFL.  But he still moved well and could glide pretty nicely in the open field, as can Reagor.

I think we can see that Reagor isn't going to be a burner.  That 40 at the combine was the first sign of that and we can see it in the open field.  But he still does glide faster than it looks in the open field.  The issue is that Reagor really don't run good routes.  So, right now, he's limited to being a gadget guy as opposed to a quality, complete WR.  He's looking more like an underneath slot than someone who is a true deep threat right now.

What's with the names? I'm seeing it all over here and the facebook groups I'm in

Why do people feel the need to name call anyone who says anything remotely positive about Wentz?

Perfect for me.  I hate running the football.

Alshon returning ruined any chance he had to continue to be a productive contributor in this offense.

Whoever fixed Tannehill is a guy we should have on our staff if we are moving forward with Wentz.

The next candidate on my list would be whoever is responsible for the Bills success with such a spazz at QB.

Those two teams are playing way beyond expectations right now because of the way their QBs have been coached up.

Fulgham has looked terrible when on the field for the last several weeks.  Bad routes, no separation, drops, not competing for the football when covered.  He just turned back into a waiver wire pumpkin.

OK in a normal person's mind...he made me look now he gets to punch me.  Somehow, there is this thought that the United States is CRAWLING with White Supremacists and everything is now all of the sudden racist.  I honestly don't get it.

I should add, that even as meh as I thought Hurts looked (in terms of being a future starter), that was a huge step up from Wentz, who couldn’t even pull the trigger confidently when his primary read was open.

The Bills have decades of inertia as a backwards, cold weather, run-first offense of sludge.  Add to that a QB from a small school with horrible accuracy, bad mechanics, but a big arm...paired with (at the time) zero standout targets.  Seems like a recipe for disaster.

Their calculated transition to a precision vertical passing offense is beautiful.  The guy who oversaw that did an incredible job.

Yep. Sucks to say because he looked like a great bet to be a contributor moving forward.
