Maybe not. But to say he’s been good since he’s been here is a stretch. Anyway, they all should go IMO, not just Doug/Howie.

Under Schwartz, our defensive DVOA has been 4, 5, 15, 12, 15.

He’s been good here overall.

Definitely.  Carson is a former mvp in his prime.  He was balling out there when he wasn’t being let down by the receivers, OL, or the organization itself who ruined his psyche by taking a QB in the draft.  Not to mention the evil fans who have been attacking him so viciously.

Carson would have done much better yesterday (if not sabotaged by the team).

Is Carson sabotaged by the team or does everyone on the team like him? All these players come out and support him this week but you think they are all secretly sabotaging him?

The issue is whether or not a QB can be successful again after having regressed and/or being benched.  And there are plenty of examples of it.  Many of them far worse than getting benched for 3 or 4 games.  Smh.

All of the following QB's have been benched or "beaten out" by another QB for the starting role then came back and had success:

- Frank Reich

- Kurt Warner

- Donovan McNabb

- Randall Cunningham

- Phil Simms

- Matthew Stafford

- Mark Brunnell

- Nick Foles

- Cam Newton

- Mitch Trubisky (This year)

And I'm sure there's more.

Almost all these guys had "success” if you can call it that with other teams after. While Wentz may be successful elsewhere, that really doesn’t help the eagles at all. So still your point is invalid.

When was Stafford benched for 3 games or worse?

I wouldn’t say 1 good game by Trubisky is any measure of success at all.

Hey, if you could do that you'd never leave the house.😉

I would call that average

I was just kidding.  Tried to be a Washer for a few posts, but just couldn't sustain the lies, deceit, and gaslighting lol.

But yes, plenty of others on here are claiming Wentz has been sabotaged by his teammates, his coaches, the front office, you name it.  It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Team sabotage is now Wentzcuse #28

Someone needs to keep a running list of all of them.  The "Wall of Wentzcuses"

Ohh. Yes.  That’s what Howie was thinking.  That sly dog.

Eagles grabbed a SS/nickel S last year with Wallace.  Most of the Ss last year were better projected as SS than FS.   This year has more FS although both are available. I liked the Wallace pick but am disappointed in his amount of play so far.  Most likely Epps is FS and Wallace SS for the remainder of the year.  Prefer Epps in a third S role.

Averages out 10.2

Which with 32 teams would be a above Average  as average would be 16.

I have yet to see any examples from you or anyone else of any QB that got benched for 4+ games to end the season then came back to the same team the following year and was successful.

You're right.  Carson's chance to bounce back will be with a different team next year.  He's done here.

Only #28?

You think grayland Arnold is going to be safety or corner, he played a bit of both in college

He should have been given more carriers throughout the season

What about battleships, cruisers, destroyers and subs.

You keep talking about "3 games or worse", not me.  I'm discussing QB's who have been benched and/or lost the starting role to another QB and came back and had success.

In 2015 the Lions were just about done with Stafford.  They benched him for Orlovsky and fired the guy that drafted him in the off-season.  He notes that experience as being the "turning point" of his career. (In a positive way).

Good catch

But he still should have had more carries over the season

Much better than Doug

Guess we should watch tonight's game to see what our offense is going to look like now with the Ravens

Yup Doug's offenses other than 2017 have been average to below average.

You got me for a few posts earlier.  Until I paid attention to your screen name and realized that your posts were beyond anything I could consider credible.

Pretty sure those are excuses.

We are near the bottom for this year.

Can we really count 2017 as "Dougs Offense"? Frank was making the game plans, scripting and creating the call sheet.
