Hurts played one game and did what the coach told him, these people telling us what Hurts can and can’t do after one game are hilarious.

Carson ishes the bed for 12 games in his 5th season and its nothing but excuses.  Hurts plays his first game and its all about what he can't and will never do.

Maybe just maybe I've watched Hurts more than one game. I follow Alabama football as I went there. I've seen him play much more than one game.

Did you watch him at Oklahoma last year lol?

I think he has four or five fumbles in like 80 snaps. Not a good argument for you lol.

5 fumbles in 80 snaps 😂😂😂

Now I know you don’t know what your talking about.

I’m fine with Hurts as long as he doesn’t fumble over 55 times in 60 games. Lead the league in turnovers and worse QB rating.

Hurts has already fumbled 4 times in about 40 touches this season.  I’ll let you extrapolate those numbers over a full season ......

Why does Wentz get 12 games and 28 excuses but Hurts get 1 game and zero excuses? Basically is washers crying like bishes with backhanded comments cause they are butthurt.

Couple times. Not every game. You mean the Big 12 that doesn't play defense?

Keep parroting your propaganda of completion percentage.  It doesn't fool anyone who actually watched the games.  You're trying to make a virtue of carson's vice of hero ball and refusing to give up on plays.

Sure there are plenty of times that guys aren't open.  A smart QB throws it away in that situation.  A dumb QB holds it forever trying to play hero ball, resulting in sacks and turnovers.  I'll let you figure out which one is which.

You’re missing my point. Throwing the ball away doesn’t explain a completion percentage that lower than the League average if all other things are equal. The problem is that receivers aren’t open or the protection is breaking down more frequently than average. It could reflect the team’s talent but I think it shows a bigger problem with the offense.

Oh man... be careful what you say.  Hurts is already up to 4 fumbles on the season and only has 1 NFL start (a total of 128 snaps, including his spot duty), including one where his only real job on the play is to make sure he doesn't fumble.

Oops. Lol

Why are wentz haters so eager to over rate a rookie qb?

Still better than D2 North Dakota who gives a f state

It's pretty common for a backup to come in and have some intial success. Until they are figured out.

That’s why im gunna stay out of this wentz vs hurts debate and enjoy the last few games of the season.

Hurts has lit a spark in the team.  Enjoy it while it lasts

My mistake. But it's still not a very good track record.

Apparently, only Eagles QBs throw the ball away when there's no one open.

I think I need to come back later.  This conversation is depressing.

At least Wentz was able to win a championship. And didn't need a freshmen to come in and fix his mess.

Not good. He’s gotta clean that up. He’s only started 1 game let’s see how he does. Wentz is a 5 year vet. Big big difference

No I understand your point.  Nowhere did I say the offense is great and that receivers are running open nonstop.  All I said was that for the particular situation they are in, with injuries to the line and at WR, a smart QB knows he has to throw the ball away often because there are many plays where there's nothing there.

Whatever it is he leads by a lot. He’s also a 5 year starter.

Well my hope is that Hurts doesn’t distract Lurie from what needs to be done.  That would be depressing.

I don’t get the Hurts hate in here. 1-0 beat Saints but is hated. Totally toxic

I dont know why you guys keep going back and forth with the Wentz haters, lol. Once I see a poster and all they post about is bashing Wentz and nothing else or uses the Wentz Washers word, they get blocked. Its one thing to make a few posts but its all they talk about and bring no value to the board. Best to just ignore them, otherwise your feeding into them. If you dont reply to them they have zero to talk about since they know nothing else, lol.

I’m looking forward to seeing his next 3 games.  He looks like a really good #2 QB.  I’m a skeptic that he will look like a bonafide #1 before the end of this season, but he has his opportunity

Fair to say Mayfield has an arm....

I think the only ones engaged in a Hurts vs Wentz debate are those that wanted Wentz benched earlier.
