Well I would say so.

We were just sent to virtual, so it was a little surprising, honestly.    I am grateful though.   This has been a slog of a school year.  A day off is heaven sent.

You teach? I see what my son and nieces go through between virtual/in school/back to virtual and so forth, I can only imagine how trying that is for the educators.

This dude does a good breakdown but sometimes is tough to understand as he can mumble

Good stuff though.

Hurts managed his snaps well made good decisions for the most part.

In some of those plays it's no wonder no one was open.

When one has 2 TEs Alshon and Ward on the field at the same time that is a slowwww offense that doesn't create much separation or spacing.

I'd like to see more formations utilizing more speed, create more spacing.

That's funny you say that because in some of the other formations, I literally thought to myself, "Wow, this is a fast offense when they want to be."  lol

in order for that to happen we would have to have NFL caliber wrs with speed, we have some guys with speed, so far none has shown themself to be NFL caliber, not even the slow ones

This year... frankly, I don't know if I do or not.   Just doing the best I can.  But, I see it from the parent side, I see it from the teacher side.   Long and the short of it is: this sucks - period.

Yup, too many times though doug trots out the 4 slowest receivers at the same time.

It's like watching 4 Jason Avants.

Now don't get me wrong loved Jason Avant but 4 of that type of receiver on the field at the same time makes for an unbalanced slow offense.

I have family members who were lifelong teachers.  It does indeed take a special person to teach and to do it as a career.  Do you find any of it rewarding?  Do you think you would enjoy it more if it wasn't for Covid, etc.?

Reagor has looked ok and there have been times he has gotten open deep and just hasn't had the ball come his way.

I thought hightower was coming along, he was getting better week to week and was a guy that could stretch the field. He reminds me so much of Pinkston, just a bit heavier but same long angular frame long arms big hands but struggles with contact. Pinkston was better at tracking the deep ball and thats something hightower can get better at, but not on the bench.

Watkins fast 40 time fast on tape in college who knows what he's got he's been active for one game got one touch on an end around no targets. He projected more as a deep threat slot or Z so of course doug lined him up at X.

Now Fulgham isn't a burner but he's faster than Jeffrey and Ward and in my opinion better than both.

Zero reason to have Ertz( slow slot receiver) Goedert( slow big slot receiver) ward short slow (slot receiver) and one legged jeffrey on the field at the same time

Yet look at snap counts look at the tape and whose on the field the most the 4 slow guys.

Jeffrey should be on the bench, I don't care if he caught a Td in a meaningless game in a lost season, all jeffrey being on the field accomplishes is taking snaps away from younger guys development. Id rather see that pass go to hightower fulgham watkins reagor even if it's a drop or a complete failure because at least those guys are learning and developing and hopefully getting better.

Doug will continue to trot out trash like jeffrey though because he thinks it gives him the best chance to win which in the end looks better on his resume and does nothing for the development and future of the young guys.

Alex Smith

Smith told reporters that the injury is "a freak thing" that was minor the week prior to facing the 49ers and became worse during the game. He also noted that the strain is not at all related to the broken leg he sustained in 2018.

I'd just as well not see him against us but i'm glad his injury isn't serious.

I'm guessing he will get one of these jobs.

Tough choice, Watson on a mega deal or your choice of rookie QB not named Lawrence and a ton of draft capital. Lions job has nothing going for it..

I am pretty sure the Texans also don't have 2021 1st round pick. They traded for Laremy.

It's definitely a hard year for teachers, parents and kids.

They don’t have a second either

Under normal circumstances, it is very rewarding.   Even now, there are moments that are.   But right now, they are fewer and farther between.

I love my job, honestly.  It has its challenges, but it has its rewards that go far beyond what I could explain here.  But, since March 13th... every thing has been exponentially more difficult.

Rookie QB, do you play the 2nd year clueless WR or the big veteran who's slowly working his way back into shape but knows how to use his body to protect the ball?

Fulgham didn't fall off b/c of Jeffrey, he fell off b/c opposing DCs had film to watch and noticed he doesn't handle the press well. And Fulgham cooled off, stopped making the catches that compensated for mistakes in route running etc. He's still a developmental project.

Reagor isn't as fast as Hightower, but he knows how to get open, still raw, but how many WRs have we seen with that skill the last decade?

Hightower can run by people, but until he learns to locate the ball and high point it, he's Gibson, not Pinkston or DeSean.

Pryor at RT? Hurts is going to be commiserating with Wentz after the game. Gee, Carson, no wonder you looked like crap all year!

Who is going to be our defensive backfield? Either the DL plays the game of the century or Murray is going to throw for 400 yards.

The Eagles need to put themselves in a position for a QB in 2022. If Wentz is half as bad as he is now this time next year, he’s done. Hurts is a fast Tyrod Taylor.

I think there’s something at least a 50/50 chance that the starting QB going into 2022 is not currently on the roster.

Are there any QBs that look promising that'll be in the 2022 draft?

That explains 1 in the last 5 games.   Sorry, its bad roster management and extremely short sighted to throw Jeffery back when they did.

Obviously Fulgham is still a developmental project.   But, the good news is that now he can watch Jeffery suck out there instead of making his own mistakes to learn from.

VA can implement a plug-in for the board that also ignores quotes from people who are on the list. Problem is that it would need to be bought again if the board gets upgraded again
