Agree with this.  I was as high on him as any because physical talent wise he's arguably at the top of his class.  But it's pretty clear he needs some polish.  I like that he's on the right trajectory though snaps and targets wise at least.  Still think he can be a monster if he gets on the same page as the QB and tighten up the routes a bit.

Better find himself a good footwork coach this summer.

Honestly, maybe a real offseason will make a big difference.  He came from such an unstructured college offense and went straight into the oddest off-season ever and then got hurt.

I’m not a big believer in Lurie meddling much. Just can’t see him telling Coaches who to play. I think his biggest fault is putting full trust in Howie and letting him do what he wants. The results haven’t been good.

I agree.  His problem may be that he doesn't meddle (or lead) enough.  It's probably hard to change after winning a SB that way.

LETS GO!!!!

It's simple really.  The veteran players and Howie/Lurie, tell Doug and the rest of the coaching staff who should play.  Whether it's Jason Peters, Desean Jackson, Darren Sproles or Alshon.  Doug has no credibility, because the leadership gelded him from the jump.  The fish stinks from the head up.....and Howie is not the head.

Yep.  I've been saying this for a while.  People don't want to admit that Lurie is a problem.  Not sure why people have him on this pedestal but everything stems down from him.

Ugh. Alshon & DSJ don't even help our team in terms of trade value as they'll have to be cut before the season begins.

I would open the wrapper, take that to the toilet and flush it.  Why waste time?

You'd be missing out, it's a fantastic chocolate bar

Im not sure its really surprising at all that Fulgham isnt playing. Remember the report out of Detroit about him missing meetings and just not getting it. Maybe hes doing that hear and now that they have other bodies to play he is being disiplined by loss of playing time.

That would be a shame.  The talent isn't a fluke.  Her performed as a top level WR, however if he doesn't have it between the ears then he will never reach the level of success he is capable of.  Not quite a DGB case but just another frustrating piece in the Eagles never ending quest to find a decent WR.

Please for the sake of Eagles fans sanity, poach some scouts or coaches from the Steelers.

I am not sure that's it because that would certainly leak.  I do think he's probably not a good at certain things as Alshon.  I think he is probably struggling with certain things but I just don't see how he wouldn't at least get some reps in the slot vs. Ward.

i dont know... I would not hate having Djax be a return man

Reagor needs to learn a new perspective from the sidelines

It didnt seem to leak from detroit till he was gone. And you dont hear much leaking about guys being like that here.  Im not sure it would leak. But I know theres really no reason why we should believe he came in to this mess of an organization and suddenly became a model employee.

Combine his on field struggles with whats likely going on behind the scenes, it probably makes perfect sense why others are playing over him.

I don't know plenty of JAG's have one or two big games.  I mean he's a good athlete but not an elite athlete.  I think he has potential as a starter but he likely needs to get better at running his routes and creating separation.  His regression doesn't surprise me but his lack of utilization does.

Well I agree that there's things we don't know.

I agree.  What stood out to me during his 4 game stretch was how good his hands were.  He was able to snatch the ball and for a 1/4 of the season you knew that if the ball went his way, he was going to catch it.  He had excellent body control and was able to shield the defender as well.  Those things combined can outweigh the lack of being an elite athlete.  The thing is now, he can't seem to shake a corner and the ball is bouncing off of his hands.  So the things he was excelling at he just can't do now.

The fact that the Eagles just said F it, he's not playing while sticking it out with others is what's confusing.  DP's quotes make it seem like he isn't practicing well either.  Who freaking knows with this team.  I still think you play him to see what you have rather than play Alshon.

There's actually people that think this too even though his best games were with Wentz:wacko:

Would be nice to see him back.  Not only to make the team/offense better but hopefully he comes back and has some memorable plays.   It it's true that he may not be back, it would be good to see him end the season on a positive note, not due to injury.  And I'm sure he really would like that as well.

No it would not.  Eagles FO would be fooled and bring him back next year, only to have it happen again.  He needs to be top 5 on the list of guys who never need to play another snap for us.

I was responding to the Tweet saying he could be back before the end of the season.  I guess you must of not read my entire post.

beyond 2020, yes. let him get on the field a little this year. Alshon is the one I dont want to see any more of starting tomorrow

For me there is a long list of guys I wouldn’t bring back next season:

Offense — Desean, Jeffery, Ertz, Ward, Clement, JJAW, Pryor, Peters,

Defense — Mills, Gerry, Maddox,

It’ll take 2-3 really good drafts to build this roster back up where it needs to be

And I explained why the Eagles FO would be fooled into bringing him back in 2021 and he would get hurt again.

I can already see the future. Jackson will be sitting on the market, draft comes and goes, Howie signs him to a 1 year $5M deal, Waddle opens up the season behind him on the depth chart.

He should have been on that list the last time they brought him back.

Go re-read my orginal post.  The tweet and the discussion has always been about him coming back before the end of THIS season.

Slow down and take the time to read a post before going on a rampage when no one said anything about next season.  As a matter of fact, both the tweet and my response to the Tweet acknowledged the fact he may not be back next season.  We have been discussing  him coming back THIS season.

Dude, reading comprehension.  I said if he came back, THE EAGLES FO WOULD BE FOOLED BY HIS PRODUCTION AND RUN IT BACK NEXT YEAR.

That statement is my opinion, and based on history, pretty darn close to a fact.
