Wentz has been a dud every single game this year and outside of Wentz Washer reality nobody anywhere would take Wentz over Kyler Murray or Lamar.

Wentz wouldn't take himself over murray or jackson... and that is the sad thing

Running QB's always get figured out.

Nah.  Really depends.  Guys like Cunningham, McNabb, Wilson, Young, etc never really got "figured out" they just developed a better passing game.  So it really depends on how far along the QB is in his passing game.

And no one figured out Kyler Murray....so not sure what you meant there.  Murray has fantastic numbers this year...both rushing and passing.

Wilson and Young are QB's that can run, they are not running QB's

You're correct.  The Howie era has been mediocre at best with a healthy dash of controversy and drama, aside from one FLUKE season of 2017 where magically the stars aligned and we won the Super Bowl.  I'm thankful for it, but I also acknowledge what it really was.  A FLUKE.

An all time great team simultaneously a fluke.  I think the strength of that team was the offensive line and they weren't a fluke.  Well planned and constructed.  This is not to give Howie or Doug a pass, but that line had thought and execution.

What I also don't think was a fluke was the playcalling.  That team coached to players skill set exceedingly well.

Not a sixers fan, IMO this would be a horrible move.

"Mobile QB" is the proper term.  And both Cunningham and McNabb had cannon arms and developed very good passing games.

Here we go again.

I meant to include McNabb.  Those guys are not what Lamar and Murray are.

Trading for Harden would be a disaster, reduces your window to win to 2 years, max.  And frankly, Harden seems like he's gotten quite heavy and likely won't even be close to what he has been (which frankly, is a stat machine, not a team guy).  Does Harden know that basketball players are supposed to play on both ends of the court?

Wilson is a pass first QB. That's why Locket and DK are doing so well

My biggest concern is seeing him come back to that rockets team and look the way that he did. He’s not young anymore. He’s 31 years old. So he has to start taking better care of his body and yet he shows up to the rocket looking completely out of shape. I’m guessing he gets himself back in the shape but that doesn’t make me feel confident about the future that he’s going to take better care of himself.

James Harden is a baller, among the best in the NBA.  That said, he's 31 years old with 3 years left on his contract.  Ben Simmons is 24 years old with 5 years left on his contract. Risky move, imo, because if Simmons eventually develops a shot, he could become LeBron 2.0.  That's his ceiling, imo.

He’ll never develop an NBA jump shot. He’s a good all around player.

That being said they shouldn’t trade him for Harden, he’s a loser.  Talented but ain’t winning s___ with him.

Harden has not gotten his team over the top, no matter who they put around him.  Plays no defense, which is constantly exposed in the playoffs.  Only got to the conference finals twice in Houston, and once got ran out of the building.

Was that really his pic?  I thought someone had photoshopped it.

I think the risky thing with James Harden besides what you said is that he also didn’t come back in shape. He’s 31, he’s not young anymore. He has to start taking better care of his body as he gets older so his body doesn’t start to break down faster with all the miles he has on it.  The guys to sustain a high level of excellence into their mid 30s maintain their body so that they can play into their mid-30s at a high level. It is discouraging to see him show up like he did.

that said I don’t think Embiid and James Harden makes you the number one contender for a title. It does make you closer this year and next year. But imo I think you’re still one star player away from being able to beat the Lakers or clippers. I don’t think that move makes them better than either of those two teams or the bucks to be honest.

Yes it is, people were making Jason Peters jokes.

Both Lamar Jackson and Murray are still young.  Lamar Jackson has made huge strides in his passing game since his rookie year.  (Not sure what's going on this year but he made a huge leap last year)   I haven't seen much of Murray but his stats this year show a very capable passer.

The curious thing for me is why would Houston pair John Wall and Ben Simmons together . One of those two guys has to be traded because neither one of them can shoot and both of them wanna have the ball on their hands at all times. And frankly I think John walls contract is immovable until down the road because it’s a bad contract. If I were the wizards I would’ve taken Russell Westbrook back to because I think it’s a better contract that you can get out of it sooner.

Teams have done something to stop his rushing attack, which is what usually happens.  He has averaged less than 30 yards/game and 4 yards/carry for the last 4 games.  Schwartz better be in the lab duplicating what these teams have done.
