I’m more worried about a possible 4-game win streak to get into the playoffs again and save Doug’s job — but the defense doesn’t play as well on the road, so it’s doubtful the Eagles get a win in ARI

The eagles really hardly play well in Arizona tbh. The last time they were here with foles and maclin was honestly the best game they had played since the nfc title game. If i remember correctly they haven’t won in AZ since the cardinals were apart of the nfc East. Yeah just checked haven’t won in Arizona since October 15, 2000

I didn't see anything last week that tells me that any of the real issues are solved, so that 4 game win streak seems impossible to me.

It would actually be 2001. BMitch returned the opening KO for a TD. Birds won 21-7. Only reason I remember that was I wasn’t aware it was a 4:05 kickoff as opposed to 4:15 back then, and I missed the KO. It was 7-0 when I turned the game on.

Thats why I mentioned Shurmur, but I agree... he needs someone who is competent.  I trust Shurmur.  Hes also rebuilt some QBs with bad mechanics and bad stats.  Best years for a bunch of QBs that would be considered 'meh' came under Shurmur.  Bradford twice, Case Keenum, Cousins, and even Daniel Jones as a rookie.  But, I'm open to possibilities.  But Im not open to giving up on Carson yet.  Just because this crew looks like the Keystone Kops doesn't mean all coaches brought in would have to.

Yep.  This story about Howie’s job being safe should turn into a huge story in Philly.  Maybe that will open his eyes at least.   

If fans were allowed in the stadium, they could really put some pressure on Jeffie.  But, since they aren't allowed, or to tailgate and cause a ruckus in the parking lot... Jeff can sit in Covid isolation and blame that for everything that's wrong.

I read an article that said the NFL (network) was giving reduced advertising rates on Thursday nights due to poor ratings.

If this continues the TV money will dry up and they will have to get fans back in the seats or face a financial disaster. You have to know teams are taking a huge hit.
