I heard Doug's press conference when he said this. It was almost nauseating  listening to this. It sounded like he was justifying Alshon's roster spot. We all think that there is no way Alshon returns next year but if Howie returns as GM, does anyone not think that there is at least a small chance Alshon comes back to justify the 10 million dollar cap hit?

They have to shed a lot of salary to get to the cap in 2021.  Jeffery and Jackson are two guys that represent the most cap savings.

Even if they had performed well this season they were almost assured of being cut loose after the season to free up cap room.

It looks like I can schedule an appointment for my Covid vaccine. Which is a nice Christmas present. 

I'll do that when I go back to work on Monday.

I felt extremely achey and lethargic for about 2 days after mine.  Certainly worth it, but don’t be alarmed if you feel off for a bit.

Good for you and Hazleton. Fat and with high blood pressure and six months shy of 65 means I should be eligible by spring.  Medical workers, first responders and frontline workers in retail/services should be ahead of the rest of us.  Everyone should get when eligible.  Did you get Pfizer or Moderna?  Personally, I want the Dolly Parton vaccine.

Hell, that describes us old folk every day. I can live with that. Mask up post vaccine as it is not clear if we are carriers at that point.

After Coach Pederson's recent comments, I'm going with The Pulse.

I knew there was some glitch when I tried to log on and first got the "this site isn't safe, their internet certificate doesn't....blah blah blah" then a "404 Error" message.  Figured it was some site hosting SNAFU and we'd be back up and running again.  It always sucks, though, when multiple days of posts are lost, not just here but in all the threads.  How many boobs have we lost in WU?  How many post about The Mandalorian?  It's a sad day for the new fan-run EMB when we lose valuable posts.  GoDaddy owes us, again.

Anyway, Happy Holiday to all of you.  May your day have less chaos than the new EMB.  And loads more alcohol.

I’m sure there were RBs available in the 2nd who would be better backups than Scott, but it doesn’t mean the 2nd round is appropriate value for it.  

I must say that I may have been wrong about Jalen. I'll own up to it. I really wanted the Ohio St rb in the second this year.

Wait you guys can get vaccines already? As an essential worker/underlying condition or just general population?

In the UK, it's not available to me yet (general population).

Healthcare workers and some other people like nursing home patients.  Not all of the public yet.
