It's strange to see a team so decimated by injuries. Thought that only happened to us. Don't think they could even beat that injured team

The most attractive player in the NFL is the backup behind a flailing starter.  And it's easier than ever to say that the Eagles drafted Hurts in round 2 for a reason.

But let's not forget that Hurts really is not a particularly good passer.

I just don't know where this team starts? It needs it all. Both players and coaches. 

Offense scheme was better to avoid the pressure with a lot of dink and dunks. However reminded me of the normal Doug scheme.  However they didnt take any shots down field. They need to scheme that happy medium with a few shots. I was happy to see the run game implemented more this week. 

Defense was horrible again. No pressure which in turn made the DBs/LBs look horrible like last year, and the year before etc etc. One game closer to a new DC next year. Also You can see how a contestant run game set up perfect play action play for the Rams. Sucked Gerry right in. 

I will say I was impressed with Sp Teams though. They did a very good job with coverage and returns. Even a blocked extra point. 

This fantastic "offensive coordinator by committee" approach doesn't seem to be working out.

There are a lot of problems with this team. Carson Wentz is one of them. He’s not the only problem. Maybe not the biggest. But it’s definitely the most significant. The qb has to be able to solve problems with the offense and to a certain extent the defense. You’re not gonna always have the defense play lights out. Sometimes your o-line will get miss a block. Sometimes a guy will drop a pass. 
 

but you have to be able to overcome things. He hasn’t shown he can do that this season. He did down the stretch last season. Well he needs to get it in gear. I don’t even recognize that guy out there in the past 6 quarters.

I do NOT want to play Hurts right now. Unnecessary controversy and we're not setting him up for success.

 who else on this team besides ertz/goddert, cox is talented? like you lost talent at receiver, running back, corner, de, qb, how can you cant expect to win games with just cox, ertz, and goddert? that's why i said 3-13, the talent is gone. when the talent is gone, you are going to be bad.

that's why i wanted howie gone because he never went after talent and it was going to backfire before the season starts, it's happening now.

Foles didn't run this system.  Imagine this, they openly expressed that they called more RPO with Foles as it fit him better!  Carson was on pace to be MVP of the league with the RPO and moving him all over the place and now?  Doug wants him to be frickin Tom Brady: stand in the pocket and deliver.  What a jerk of a coach he is.

The issue last week was that Wentz couldn't throw it away or take the smaller gain and could only look for the big play...in an offense that was designed to push the ball downfield.  The issue this week was that Wentz couldn't make the easy scripted throw, find the open guy for the easy throw, or avoid turning it over...in an offense that was designed to dink and dunk.

They are really spinning their wheels with him right now.  Right now, the coaches must feel like they are stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to get him going.  He's just been brutal.

C'mon Falcons, the only soothing ointment for an Eagles loss is a Cowboys loss too. Don't F this up lol!

Honestly it does not matter. We made the playoffs the last two years by luck/bad div. I dont see how making the playoffs again by luck/bad div makes anyone feel good.

Yeah sort of like the dynasty Bill Belichick had in NE.  

Those Wentz vs. Dak, Wentz vs. Goff, and Wentz is elite arguments are getting a lot more challenging.

It worked when Wentz was a threat with his legs. Three years and a million injuries later he's a statue back there. He's lost all of the plus parts of his game.

One person I'm definitely on for getting replaced is Schwartz. Just tired of his defense

Try calling a game that suits him.  Goff was moved all over the place and looked great.  Do that with Wentz, give him 1 or 2 options and see what you get.  He was great in 2017 doing it.
