Possibly.....I think he might have had a solid year here if he and Carson had some chemistry.  But the way the offense has looked with all the injuries and coaching issues and even accuracy issues with Wentz I doubt he would have put up any kind of big numbers like he did with the Vikes.

True. He likely gets hurt and put on IR for the season if he comes here. crap is ridiculous

He'll be hurt again by halftime.

I still have a preference for Kris Richard to get a shot as DC here if/when Schwartz leaves, but would anyone have interest in Lovie Smith or Marvin Lewis to run the defense?

Lovie knows defense.

At least Watkins will get a chance to show his stuff in the last week when Desean is back on IR.

I dont think Schwartz is a bad DC.  Maybe his scheme/system might be a little bit old school and with the way offense's are operating today it might be good to have someone with newer ideas.  With that said I dont think you will see dominant defenses anymore.

over / under jaccpot not seeing the field again after doing 2 go-routes?

Hardly reassuring.

Maybe we can get Pinkston to suit up Sunday too. Bring all the boys back!!

Doug is still grasping to hope that they can win the division, and he honestly thinks these two 30+ year-old WR who are injured 80% of the time give him a better chance to win than the younger guys.

Maybe Alshon will get away with 3 or 4 more push offs this Sunday, and maybe Jackson can play 3 quarters before his season finally ends — or maybe Doug just doesn’t have a clue

DeSean and Alshon might give us a better chance of winning actually. That doesn't mean they're not old and washed up though.

This might be an 8D chess move.

Winning does nothing to help the team moving forward, literally nothing.

They might be trying to "keep up appearances" of trying to win while actually trying to lose by rolling the broken down players out there to not risk injury to the younger guys we will absolutely need next year no matter who the QB is.

Watching the Vikes  Saints yesterday i noticed that when the Saints found something that was working they stayed with it.

As a fan I agree.  If I were a player or coach, , especially Hurts, I disagree.  Winning, trying to win, is a must.  Whether DeSean and Alshon help another question.

Yep.  Doc Rivers called the same play to Embiid about 6-7 times in a row during the 4th qtr comeback against WA the other day.  It produced points each time.  Amazing what can happen when you let players do what they do well.

Amazing how he exploded when "The Anchor" was off the court too.

Going to be an interesting season in that regard.  I'm one that would have no problem trading the Anchor.  Get while the getting is good because when he is the exact same, fearful of shooting player after a year of being coached by Doc and Cassell, the return will be bench players.  When Curry hit him for the dunk at the end of the game he was open because his defender sprinted to the foul line to double Embiid.  Nobody ever sprints to double him.  Ever.
