My main point is Wentz doesn’t and can’t really restructure with the Eagles to make a trade happen. Most he can do is push the date back for his bonus. Technically I guess he could give up the bonus all together but I don’t see that being realistic.

Hurts is quite a bit easier to trade, more prudent, and might even bring as good a return

😉

Finally a team with a worse WR group than the Eagles

That development has the potential to gift the division to the Giants

Mike Tannenbaum, still an idiot

Yeah this is hilarious.  Would be the first instance in human history of a thief willingly handing back tens of millions of ill-gotten gains!

Sorry — meant wildcard to BAL 😂

Why on earth do people have this notion that the PA would allow Carson Wentz to set a precedent and give money back to the organization after they’ve signed him to a mega deal?  Even if he wanted to?

I believe @Iggles_Phan is saying they need to restructure Wentz to get under the cap. You can’t trade if you are over so they would need to come up with the money first and it’s too great of a gap to do it without a Wentz restructure. But once you restructure him it makes it harder to trade him because you take on more dead money.

Oh. I used to just go to Don because he was good at dumbing down the cap for me because I never understood it

Who cares about Dallas?  They've been irrelevant for a quarter of a century.  Eagles fans seriously have PTSD from 30-50 years ago.

If you grew up watching this team in the late 80's/early 90's when Dallas was dominant (Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith) years....all you heard was Dallas this, Dallas that, America's team....and "How About them Cowboys!"....well, then you would get it.

And I always root for the Eagles to win, regardless of whom they are playing against.

Better question why would Wentz give the eagles 20 million and bail them out after how he’s been treated?

If I’m reading the 2021 schedule correctly  the Eagles will be playing in Las Vegas.  I might have to see if I can swing a ticket to see them play in that venue

Howies going to ask really nicely

You are correct, last game in Oakland was Foles 7td game in 2013. Next one won’t be until 2029

Qb factory baby.

so which qb do we draft in this upcoming draft?

Kyler Murray was super fortunate that the eagle secondary was a complete mess last week because if you watched him over the last 6 to 7 weeks he’s struggled and the cardinals have since that hail Mary. His stats get skewed because he has some of these games where he has garbage time stats like in the Rams game they scored a touchdown late when they were down 17 points. Even in the Eagles game he struggled to get a bad interception

I saw all of that.  First season I remember is 1986 w/Buddy, Randall, and Reggie.  Again, yeah they won back then but the last one was 25 years ago.

It's time for Eagles fans to stop being mentally hostage to past trauma.  But I get it.  Groups and tribes like to have someone to love, but they REALLY need someone to hate lol.

Schwartz factor, nothing to do with our secondary. That being said I’m not a big fan of Murray, not sold on him yet. His stats look great. Doesn’t pass the eye test.

The best way to show your disdain for the Dallas Cowboys isn't over the top hatred.

It's indifference.

It's just s sports rivalry.  They have their purpose....especially when a season goes the way this one has for the Eagles...beating the Cowboys would likely make the season sting a little less...for a lot of fans.

Howie is dying to draft Kyle Trask in the top 10

How?

tell me in what world would wentz want to help them fix the qb factory mess that this org created?

his only real incentive would be to go to a better team. That should not be too difficult since we are clearly one of the worst

Very confused by that response

252 yards passing on 50 throws is dreadful

He’s Doug Flutie basically. Makes some great plays but not overly impressed.

Early signs are that Jalen Hurts is better than Kyler Murray.
