Every week we see multiple teams do crazy trick plays/fake punts/etc that are so imaginative and work well most of the time.

I cannot remember the last time our coaches came up with anything even remotely close.

Pretty sure you're correct.

I think it still goes by div wins first, followed by conf wins then strength of sch follows, just like a tie for a playoff spot. I think they follow that same plan for draft spots as well.

I don’t know how people can root for a loss against the Cowboys.

We're not rooting for "a loss against the Cowboys".  We're rooting for higher draft picks.  Does that help you understand?

I don't think so.  It goes by Strength of Schedule as others have posted.  Which means if we tie with the Bengals, we'll pick higher than them.

The #3 overall pick is still possible!

Division and conference wouldn't apply since we're in different conferences.

2 weeks ago vs NO when the ran the fake speed option right and tossed back to Raegor left for a run of 15 yards?

No it doesn’t. No draft pick is a guarantee even whoever takes Trevor Lawrence. But I am a fan that would want the Eagles to win even if we were 0-14.

How exactly do the eagles get a "higher draft pick” by winning?

That is still how they determine every teams ranking for the entire NFL with the same records.

Who said that "a draft pick is a guarantee"?  Nobody.

You and every Jets fan/NFL expert disagree, lol.

We're rooting for a higher draft pick.  If that means a loss against the Cowboys, then so be it.  Now do you understand this kindergarten level analysis?  Or do you need the pre-school version?

Not in different conferences.

Non-Conference Tiebreaking Procedures

If a tie remains between teams with both the same record and the same strength of schedule, and the teams are not from the same conference, then the following tiebreaking procedures are followed:

  1. Head-to-head record: the team with the worse record in games played against each other is awarded the higher pick in the NFL draft order.
  2. Winning percentage in common games (min of 4): the team with the lower winning percentage is awarded the higher pick.
  3. Strength of victory: the aggregate winning percentage for opponents each team defeated is calculated and the team with the lower strength of victory is awarded the higher pick.
  4. Combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games: For example, if Team A is ranked 15th in points scored and 20th in points allowed, Team A’s combined ranking would be 35. If Team B is ranked 13th in points scored and 21st in points allowed, Team B’s combined ranking would be 34. Team B’s combined ranking is better, so Team A would be awarded the higher pick.

this must be the most complicated question ever. I’ll answer it for you if you’d like.

Even if the Eagles lost out and ended up picking as high as #3 overall you could do a poll in here and people wouldn’t agree on what to do with the pick anyway

He didn't say that.

Actually he did. When the attention **** said "I want a loss”, he quickly quoted and replied "me too”.

Assuming the Giants lose today..we win today and next week = playoffs?

Trubisky lol

WFT would clinch by beating CAR

I just went back, I'm not seeing anywhere Arsenal said we get a higher pick by winning.

Faker is back?

Sadly yes. Unless Skins win today

No he didn’t. I said that in response to his claim that he’s not rooting for a loss, he’s "rooting for a higher draft pick”.

He's explaining a mentality, not a literal position.
