Sixers vs Cavs.

I can't imagine being a Falcons fan

Should be good

No you don’t, pulling for a loss is just as irrational as pulling for the win.

All of your intelligence should tell you that the higher draft pick guarantees nothing.

This post makes no sense.  What are you trying to say?  If pulling for a loss is irrational, but as you say so is pulling for a win, then the only thing left that could be considered 'rational' would be either to pull for a tie, or to do needlepoint rather than tuning in to the game.   Then again, the term 'fan' being short for 'fanatic' would certainly imply that logic isn't really the governing cognitive operation.

And no one has said that the loss guarantees anything, but more losses make the likelihood that Lurie has to actually make sweeping changes more likely.   Losing also makes getting a higher pick a greater possibility, while winning clearly makes that less likely.

Umm that’s the whole point.

If a loss guarantees nothing, I’d rather get a win, shot at the playoffs, and more hope that we actually have a QB.

Seems pretty easy logic to me.

A loss guarantees more value for every single pick we have in the draft. That’s not a subjective statement. That’s an objective fact.

Ugh Atlanta

That team hasn't been the same since the SB embarrassment. It needs a reset

LOL Dirty Birdz got the memo!

The Bengals beat the Texans and Watson is injured. Thus ends the Ja'Marr chase dream.

Honestly losing a SB the way they did, fans would be justified abandoning ship.  That loss was inexcusable. And, they continue to lose like that.

We’re eliminated if the REDSKINS win today anyway, right?

Yes.

Higher draft pick, new coach, new GM, none of these things guarantee winning in the future...especially if we don’t have a QB.

Winning against Dallas keeps us in the playoff race and gives hope that we may have a QB.

Seems very rational to me.

Aberfeldy 12 for the game today

Wife is in the kitchen right now whipping up some oatmeal cookies (today's add in toffee bits).   They should be ready by the start of the 2nd quarter.

Texans have no chance of taking him.

The Colts could be 10-5 and be nearly eliminated from the playoffs.  We are 4-9-1 and still have a shot at the division.  2020 says hi again.

I actually work with one.  He doesnt really care.

Miami has their pick. Miami could go DE/OT though. WR is a top need.

It’s more about who is picking the players than where you are in the draft...ask Detroit.

Now maybe some of you are still of the belief that Lurie fires Roseman with 2 more losses...unfortunately I don’t believe that’s happening.

You have to look long and hard to find one of those around.   Georgia is a college football head bed.  Pro Football?   Meh.

Plus Eagles could trade up, 2 spots would only cost like a 4th+. Chase is our destiny, so whatever needs to happen will happen so it ends up so. Texans may win today's game still anyway or even next week.

That doesn’t change the fact that the picks are more valuable. A meaningless win does nothing.
