Welp, maybe this Ravens--Texans game will distract from the crap shows that were the earlier games.

Don't Texans have a ton of injuries? Likely to be a blowout with a Ravens W

They should have last season.

Totally disagree.  Wentz isn't good in the pocket.  Why keep him there 95% of the time.  You've seen Wentz be great and you think he can't make the right read, make the right throw?  Call an offense that works for him.  I swear, I puke when they just have him 5 yards behind center with the back to his left or right, every defense knows what we are doing.  Is that on the QB?

IF this is true and is a fixed problem, then nothing else matters.  You find a new QB.

A QB who isn't good in the pocket is like a baseball player who isn't good at the plate.  That's their job.

Now, I haven't given up hope on Wentz in the pocket.  But you can't just have a qb that doesn't function in the pocket.

The inability of this defense to generate turnovers is such a killer. You saw what that forced fumble on the punt did and it was the only reason they were still in the game. I do not care how many yards per play, pressures generated, or to be honest how many points the defensive gives up. You need to be able to get some turnovers with how the league is now. Defenses are going to give up points. That's just how it is. They have zero playmakers or opportunistic guys on defense that can take advantage of situations to force a strip or an interception.

The Eagles were a total trash team and he led them to victory.  So when he plays well and wins its because they were bad teams?  When he plays well and loses its because he sucks?  When he was going to be MVP, what was it then?

In 2017 the Eagles were a GREAT team through a lot of luck with veterans peaking.  Carson played well but he was basically along for the ride.  In every other season he's been a bit above average, mediocre, or worse.

The NFC East was all-time bad the last 2 years.  Our 4 wins to end the season last year were against the Redskins, Giants 2x, and Cowboys at home.  All bad to awful teams.

How about a QB that can complete a 1st down pass?

Is that too much to ask for?

Turnovers come from an edge rush.  Graham gets about 6 effort sacks per year, but is no scary edge rusher.  And he's the best we've got.  All the resources have been dumped into 3 run stopping DTs who didn't stop the run today.

Barkley torn ACL. Sucks for him right before he can get a monster contract

100% agree. It was a mirage.

I'm scared we'll finish this year with another 4-0 record thinking we're better than we actually are.

I decided to not bother watching Doug's presser.  They've become more and more meaningless.  Even AR gives me more indepth info

Sadly, I don't see Wentz getting back to his 2017 self. From here, going forward, I see him at best being a decent QB, but between the issues in his head, and the fact that our cap going forward will make it difficult to pay good talent, and the fact that Howie doesn't draft well, I don't see Wentz ever being good enough to elevate whatever we have here.

Brutal day. We are staring down a possible 2-6 start and that’s guessing we can beat an injury riddled 49ers team & Bengals.

Man, you got some Carson hate, don't you?

I think its more the scheme then the players. Ive been on the fire Jim wagon since 2018. His scheme sets DBs/LBs set up to fail UNLESS his dline gets instant pressure every play. We have not been getting that pressure which means no turnovers on defense.

He said nothing.  Literally nothing.  I watched him pick his nails and brush them off the podium while a meaningless flow of barely connected words escaped his mouth.

Paying Carson Wentz $32M/yr is a franchise crippling mistake.  We're stuck with this guy for AT LEAST 3 more years due to that toxic contract.

I wouldn't count on either.

This fan base needs to start treating Wentz like they did McNabb or any other player.  Maybe then, we can progress:

Until then Wentz is Trump and his fan base is MAGA.  Sad.

Howie's got us with a toxic contract at nearly every position on the field.

I wonder which player will be released this week as the sacrificial lamb?

Hilarious that we finally have some semblance of receiver talent and wentz decides to turn into absolute trash

Nope.  Love the kid, tbh.

I vote Peters, but I'm guessing JJAW.

We should have had everyone pass a basic IQ test and field sobriety test when the new board was created
