At least Jalen Reagor looks like he’ll be a quality starting WR for us. I know it’s week 2, but his play has been encouraging

I wonder which player will be released this week as the sacrificial lamb?

What's the cap implications if we trade Wentz?

Justin Herbert forgot to tie his laces and still made the throw. Both funny, and sad after watching Wentz for the last 2 weeks

We should have had everyone pass a basic IQ test and field sobriety test when the new board was created

Yep, no one w/a triple digit IQ could possibly be satisfied w/our $32M/yr "franchise QB".

We ain't trading Wentz.  The change to make is on the coaching staff

I think it's basically impossible until 2023 offseason.

Wentz is a franchise QB on a mega-contract.  Those types are only trade-able if you have a reason (ie, some young backup takes the league by storm).

Otherwise, no one wants your leftovers making $30m/year.  He's not trade-able.  They need to ride or die with Wentz for the next 2 years.

After that, they can blow it up.

Well Wentz listened about quicker throws and throwing the ball away.  Way to many throws to the TEs.  Need to involve the WRs more.  Need better accuracy and ball placement.  Stupid interceptions help cost a win. Don’t see how he can seem so unfamiliar with his receivers. There needs to be more motion in the offense and some variation in play calling.

Defense looked horrible today. Really bad day for Gerry and Riley.  Short CBs exposed. Why again are we paying so much to the DTs?

Im not sure why most people are upset. Most felt this team was a sub .500 team and not many picked for us to win the game. Why people are so mad when they expected it makes it even more funny.

I had them 7-9 or 8-8 but most people had them 9-7 or 10-6.

Kyle Murray looks better then Wentz, right now, against the football team.

7 wins would be a miracle.

Didn't watch the game but had it on the radio on the way home from the beach.  What really sucks is that the big time investments the Eagles have made...all of these big contracts.  Wentz, Cox, BG and then some....none of them are playing well.  The Eagles are over investing in average players.

I've been saying for 2 years now that Cox isn't worth near $100 million and I'm sticking to that.  I heard his name once today.

I'm really starting to sour on Wentz.  Guy is going to be 28 this year.  Year 5 in the league.  Is this what he is?  Great some weeks, bad others?  That's not a $130 million quarterback.

I didn't get excited once during the game.  It sounded bad.

The saddest part is I honestly don't care.  Don't care that I wasn't able to watch.  Not upset at all.  Just Ehhh.  I hate that my fandom has died.

As popular as it is to hate on Wentz right now, there's no scenario where I don't want him to be our QB for the balance of this year and for 2022.

If he really torpedos, then it might be nice to move on for 2023.  So it's not the end of the world to be locked in through 2023.

We could trade Wentz this off-season and gain cap space.

I'd rather they win 3 games than 7.

Doug has owned Mcvay

Wentz > Goff

Wentz now have weapons

Egales have the better rb

Eagles got healthy today.

Rams lost their best lbs in free agency (Fowler and Littleton)

Eagles took their nickel corner (NRC)

Rams learning a new defensive system

Eagles always responded after a loss

Rams had to travel from the west coast for a 1 pm game.

Paying Carson Wentz $32M/yr is a franchise crippling mistake.  We're stuck with this guy for AT LEAST 3 more years due to that toxic contract.

Wentz still isn’t the problem.

This fan base needs to start treating Wentz like they did McNabb or any other player.  Maybe then, we can progress:

Until then Wentz is Trump and his fan base is MAGA.  Sad.

The silent majority? Not quite. The Wentz supporters are very vocal.

Isn’t Wentz’s contract structured to where the Eagles have an out next year?

Looking at Spotrac right now, I think you're right.  Sounds like a good plan to me!

Interesting side note:

Every year, the Eagles are more injured than most.  And that's after bubble wrapping players, keeping starters out of camp, never playing them in preseason.

This year, players aren't participating in camp, there was no preseason, and the rest of the league has caught up to the Eagles in injuries.

Perhaps offseason bubble wrap isn't the way to go.

I'd like to see another coach get a crack at Wentz TBH.

Yeah agreed. I don’t think Eagles front office will even begin to consider the possibility of moving on from Wentz until the end of the 2021 season. And that would have to mean he had back to back disaster seasons.

I agree with this.  There's a lot of smoke that the staff has CODDLED Wentz just like a lot of the fans.  Apparently Flip and Reich were hard on him and he didn't like it.
