His legs honestly fooled a bunch of you, he's a sub 60% completion percentage and hasn't been asked to make any NFL level throws.

Details.

I’m going to apply just 5 of the 33 Wentzcuses to Hurts for this game.

I think we can put that whole Hurts is a franchise QB to bed. Nothing against him though

After one bad game? I mean I don’t think he’s the future by any means but come on now. He’s a rookie and played like one today.

This team is so bad Lurie needs to completely blow it up. Fire Howie and all of the coaches, bring in a new GM let him hire the coaching staff, trade both QB's, Ertz, Cox, Graham, all the older highest paid players for as many picks as you can get and start a total rebuild.

Howie didn't only pass on Jefferson and Metcalf. The two guys he took look to be among the worst in their draft class(so far).

If we ended up with like Higgins and AJ Brown or something it wouldn't be as good, but it wouldn't be the disaster it has been. You seriously couldn't draft this poorly if you tried.

If he doesn't at least get demoted, Lurie is a disgrace. His obsession with Howie is killing this organization.

The problem with this line of thinking is that Jefferson and Metcalf would probably look like crap or be sitting on the bench in Philly. What’s apparent is that this offense as a whole is dysfunctional. I don’t think a prime Tom Brady would look good here.

- Hurts comes back to Earth

- Offensive line had their worst game in weeks

- Defense looked like Swiss Cheese

- Doug made some bad play calls.  Not having DJax out there on 3rd and 14 when DJax had just toasted Dallas' defense for 80+ yards a series or two before is inexcusable.  Even if DJax doesn't get the ball there you put him out there so that he draws the safety.  Not kicking the FG on 4th and long with 14+ minutes left also inexcusable.

Plus a myriad of dumb penalties, etc....ugly game all around.

Love to here how Hurts looked any different then Wentz in this game? Are we now ready to admit Doug is the problem? 3 run plays in the 2nd half. once again, Doug lost the game. Wentz nor Hurts is the problem. We do not have a QB problem, if anything we have 2 very good QBs on a poorly coached team.

all season long we have had the worst wrs, worst oline and worst play calling.

I said it wouldnt matter who the qb is,  nobody will succeed with that trio of suckage

Lurie won't do it, but that's the type of game where Doug should get his walking papers tomorrow.

Nah.  Let him play out the string.  Then he goes on Jan 4th.

I have a gut feeling we win next week and drop to 10

3rd?! Sheesh, what a truly bottom out scenario this season has been.

For all the draft position guys in the blog. You know we’re taking an OT or DE first right? You heard it here Jamarr Chase will NOT be an Eagle.

Probably. I wouldn’t mind an OT or DE though.

Yup...they will feel that they're good at WR with Fulgham, Reagor, Ward, Watkins and Hightower.  The lines will be a bigger priority in their minds.

Count the receivers Wentz has completions to this season... Like I said, on a week to week basis, not as much in a single game.  Regardless... Wentz has never had any kind of stability at the WR position since... 2017, where he could get into a rhythm with his receivers.

I’m purely talking about in a single game and have been the whole time.

I predicted back in April when we didn't trade up for Lamb that CeeDee Lamb will score a TD that knocks us out of the playoffs. Admittedly, I was thinking more of a last minute TD, but I think it still qualifies. He scored the TD that gave them 27 and scored the final TD.

Poetic justice for Howie Roseman. Couldn't have ended more fittingly for that bum.

My guess is Lurie fires Doug tomorrow and makes Duce the interim head coach.  They win next week and Duce becomes the head coach next season with Brad Childress as the offensive coordinator.

You are basing that off throwing 1 deep ball to Jackson... How many 'deep balls' did Hurts actually throw?   How many were dropped or not tracked well by Wentz?

Nah.  Hurts has had at least 6-7 nice 30+ yard throws this year...in only 3 or so games.

Who in the top 5 is worth that pick? Serious question.

Sewel would be a great pick. Bpa or trade back. I don't want them reaching with this selection.

They wouldn't look like crap. They wouldn't be as good as they have been elsewhere, but they definitely wouldn't be crap. They're legit playmakers. Metcalf is a freak of nature, insanely competitive. He'd still find a way to produce.

We should not even bother fielding a team next week.

Hurts is a rookie with no camp thrown to the wolves, Wentz is a 5 year "mvp” that’s the washer difference 🙂

He had how many weeks again? 13? So like three camps

On a positive note. We get the worst strength of sch next year:)

I think roster construction and injuries are the biggest problem. Doug just compounds the problems.

People were calling him the next Russell Wilson after one game so why can't he be called not a franchise QB after 1 game?

Who the hell did he throw that to?

The Dallas DB.

It’s too soon to call him anything

Trade the pick for a haul.
