We should not even bother fielding a team next week.

It's a MUST LOSE game.  There is no excuse to win that game.  Sit everyone who has a boo boo.  Play Sudfeld.  I don't care.

I don’t agree at all with this. Time to move on.

Ok.  Well, you are disagreeing with objective facts.  Look at who Wentz has had to throw to over the last 3 years and then disagree with that.  He's had completions to the most different WRs of any QB in the NFL over that span, and its not even close.   And... sadly, we still don't have a single definitive guy on the roster that you can point to and say, "Yeah, that's a WR that we can pencil in as a starter moving forward."

I am glad that the team turned in that performance today. It leaves no room for interpretation or get out clauses. This organisation has lived off of 2017 and sniffing its own intellect for far too long.

The game moved on while they did it.  Jeff Lurie won't like it, but if he wants another SB for his legacy, he has to remove his boys from the organisation. This version of the Eagles is done.

Honestly cant blame them.   The injuries in the secondary really killed us today going against Cooper, Gallup and Lamb.

But at least we got put out of our misery.  Now we know what needs to be done and just wait to see what draft pick we end up with.

With nothing to play for they need to sit most of the vets and let the young guys play.

Sucks that Mailata wont get more experience against a good defense in Skins next week. He needs all the reps he can get. At least we have his future we can look upon and be happy

what?  did he get hurt?

Hurts has had a nice three games but he’s also shown the problems are way beyond Carson. Hurts even had a bit more time to throw though he created a but of that on his own. Bottom line is the OL has been one if the worst in the league overall and certainly the absolute worst during several weeks. Doug compounds things with sheet play calling and Wentz was just plain awful at times. Hurts made up for things a bit with his legs and the last three weeks we’ve had the same OL which has helped a bit. All in all a steaming pile anyway you look at it. Tonight was just the latest example.

Texans play the Titans and Falcons play the Bucs. Im not expecting us to have pick number 3

That may be true.  But, maybe the seeds will be set going in.  I haven't looked at that yet.  But, if the seeding is set, those teams might make that game a bye for their starters.

With WFT defense I dont see us winning.  Even if Haskins plays.  He will look like an elite QB just like Dalton did today.

Don’t underestimate this teams ability to shoot itself in the foot, including winning when there’s no reason to do so

I don't think Rouseau is worth that high of a pick.  I like him but he's a back end of the 1st talent.  Would hate to see them stretch to fill a need that high in the draft.

He's a head case and still needs work. Weak DE class creating hype for him

And last place in the worst division of all-time probably.

That's a kick in the nuts

Only 3 things.   Eagles lose, Falcons win, Texans win.

You're forgetting Bengals

Didn't he get a concussion?

So basically he'll be the pick

Howie is going to get the injury and covid excuses.

I think the fact we are seeing players leave Philly and having success on other teams will show Howie picked people who can have success if coached right. Plus the fact of how we has had success with UDFA's and signing some productive practice squad players. If anything they will hire an advisor again.

They'll pick another PAC 12 reaciver

Yeah this.  With spots clinched we could see plenty of teams turning Week 17 into a bye.

Which is exactly what we should do.

They wouldn't look like crap. They wouldn't be as good as they have been elsewhere, but they definitely wouldn't be crap. They're legit playmakers. Metcalf is a freak of nature, insanely competitive. He'd still find a way to produce.

Would they even see the field in a significant way? I’m just not sure. I think the coaching and play calling is a serious problem here.

Winner of this division will be 7-9 unless Washington and Dallas both lose, then it’s the 6-10 Giants

You’re talking about over the course of seasons due to a variety of reasons. I’m talking about a single game on Doug’s own volition.

You’re moving the goal posts and twisting the argument around for some senseless reason. Move on.

Trade the pick for a haul.

Yup. We need an infusion of talent.

One good thing to come out of this game is that Quez Watkins looks like he could be a player.   Now that we've been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, he should be getting more snaps/targets...as well as Fulgham, imo.

I think they take Smith over Chase. Him and Tua already have a connection

Lol, watch him have 150 yards and 2 TDs next week.

Along with roster building.
