The nfl could have selected Rams/cardinals....browns/Steelers....packers/bears.....dolphins/bills ....ya know ....games where both teams are actually relevant to the playoff picture...

Rams/Cardinals is entirely too dependent on other teams. Same with Bears. All 3 could be eliminated by the time they play. Packers clinched. Steelers clinched. Bills clinched. That leaves Washington, Browns,  Dolphins with win and you’re in. Also serious implications for the winner of Dallas/NY. It probably makes the most sense viewer wise for Washington.

Sanders and Goedert?

I've said I would like for them to hire a HC that will run the ball and add another dynamic RB to pair with Sanders.  Imagine Sanders with a Travis Etienne or Najee Harris and giving these guys 25-30 touches a game.  It would help out big time no matter if Wentz or Hurts is the QB.  If DP is still the coach then it wont matter.

Sanders will either be out of here or suffering knee problems by the time the rebuild is finished.  I don't think the RB position qualifies as a building block.

I like Goedert and think he should be the starting TE indefinitely.  No need to look for more investment there.  But he's not quite the absolute stud we often make him out to be either.  He's inching towards an injury prone label and isn't exactly an incredibly dangerous receiver.

If it’s Hurts they need to figure out the second half issues ASAP.

28/62  - 365 yards

9 sacks

3 fumbles

2 INTs

Teams figure Hurts out and he has no answers

Hated Reagor's tape at TCU. He didn't look like an exceptional WR in the Big-12. His best plays were as a punt returner. He was a Tavon Austin type player. Jeudy, Ruggs, Lamb, Jefferson, Higgins, Aiyuk, Shenault, and even Mims were all better picks at 21 to me. I didn't study Claypool at ND or Pittman at USC.

Punt returner?  What's that?  Is that the guy who waves at the ball and then catches it... or waves and then stands right next to where it lands and watches it roll away?

Wentz had 10 fumbles this year in 809 snaps and Hurts 9 fumbles in 282 snaps

Wentz is completely unreadable because of his contract. It’s just not going to happen so don’t even bother entertaining the idea.

This notion that a $32 mil QB who threw for 4000 yards last year without 1 500 WR is "outrageous" is something I don't understand.

Sure, if he got Kolb'd and is just broken then sure.

I honestly don't believe that's the case. He was worth every bit of that $32 mil last year.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Singleton isn't a major piece moving forward though.  He's a 27 year old JAG LB.  Driscoll is nice for depth, but also showed he struggled to stay healthy.  Got dinged a lot.

Same thing that happened last season with the WRs and Ward looking the best out of them so fans thought he was a starter lol

When you're so bad that JAG look like starters...

Goff probably out too with a broken thumb.

I dont know if he is either but does he get many targets?  Doesnt seem like it.  I know they use him as a blocker often.

IMO, no component of a league-average passing game that doesn't win a playoff game is worth $32m.

Deserves a fine or suspension. Seeing this I really want the Eagles to lose next week to knock Dallas out.

Everyone talks about no second half adjustments but omits the best second half adjustment all season. Boston Scott refused to catch and return a kickoff after he got it to about the 15, fumbled, and would be a turnover if the Dallas guys big toe was inbounds.

Wow.  Yes, thats suspension worthy in my eyes.  And for a guy with his own injury demons, very low class.

While we discuss first round picks and our disappointing WRs, let me be the first to mention that I have some very serious reservations about Ja'Marr Chase.

He’s missed time every year, has multiple injuries every year, and has hovered around 50-60% of offensive snaps. He’s pretty much there.

I do agree he should be starting going forward. I just feel he will be our Kittle-lite going forward with injuries, just less production.

Hurts looked like a rookie that got less and less help with play calls as the game progressed. You should see the season Ruggs is putting up in Oakland.

Ironically, both being used exactly the same.

Go routes and very little of anything designed to get them the ball in space to utilize their athleticism.

They throw back shoulder throws to these smaller WRs.

It's quite the sight to behold for highly drafted guys.

The NFL should really look into officiating at Jerry world.

Refs are making calls too loosely in Dallas favor there.  That fumble recovery they gave to Dallas the guys foot was out of bounds.  Hurts fumble that they confirmed, his knee was clearly down.  I've seen plays where a Dallas player was a clear yard short of a 1st and the refs just give it to them.  Remember last year the fumble recovery on the kickoff the refs screwed us on?

Disagree. Winston had 15 career games in 5 seasons with that many or more yards. Yards aren’t everything

Dak is getting people thinking he's worth $40 mil because of his yards he gets after being down 3 scores and D's soften up.

Pause. 😅

The call on Scott was correct, IMO. The official probably didn’t have a clean view on the guys toe so called it a fumble since it’s automatically reviewed anyway, just like they should call a TD in any close play.

The Hurts fumble was a bad call IMO. It looked closer than some want to admit, but his knee looked down before any movement.

The no clear recovery was just ridiculous.

Start Wentz vs the Skins

Right now, of all the fails this Eagles team has accomplished this year, a loss to a Dwayne Haskins led WFT has me scratching my head the hardest.  We are the only team he beat this year.

No. The only thing that would cap this terrible season is him tearing his knee or blowing an achilles which impacts his 2021 year. Which is more realistic than you think given how injury bitten this team is and Wentz not playing in 3 weeks.

I'm not quitting on Reagor, but it is incredible that's two years in a row now that they have taken a receiver that looks the worst out of the bunch that was taken in the same round.

They also took the worst rb out of all the rbs in the 2017 draft and Maddox was one of the worst cbs in the entire league before his injury

Our team is injury prone. 100% injury rate.
