You thought a lot of things, most of which has been hilariously wrong

How are those Hurts-Russel Wilson comparisons working for you?  Good lord....

You’ve been hilariously wrong all season.  How are those Wentz is a franchise QB statements working out for you?  He’s been beyond awful, he was benched, and he’s on his way out of town.  I assume you’ll be going with him to Indy or wherever.

People are blaming the QB after the OL repeatedly put the team behind the sticks + an absurd WR rotation.

Sounds about right.  Happens all the time around here.

Yeah, maybe...or maybe Reid wins one here.

That said, pretty sure the "grass is greener" comment is referring to the dumpster fire Chip Kelly era...not necessarily what happened after Chip.

But that didn't happen in a vacuum. Reid needed a change for his own good. Quite frankly the Chiefs have done far better drafting then we have. If you think Reid wins a Superbowl with the players Howie has been drafting? Not likely.

We won because the 2017 team had chemistry in both the team and coaching staff. We struck lightning in a bottle.

I dont want him to be Derrick Henry. I want him to be Aaron Jones. the threat of the run, and the passing game(which he needs to work at) needs to be there.

End of the day he's gotten 20 carries more 2 times since he took over as a full time back.  You put Miles Sanders in San Fran, Minnosota, Green Bay, He's a 1500 All purpose back easily

If someone could be something better in a different situation, it doesn’t make them a top 5 player...it makes them a projection.

Miles Sanders is a better than average starting rb who projects as being even better in a less dysfunctional offense.

Nothing more nothing less.

Miles Sanders is too fragile to carry the load with 20+ touches per game.  If they get a good offer they should seriously consider it as he only has 2 cheap years left.

Because he and Howie should leave together, and frankly, because of the SB, I think they deserve to finish the season.

Besides, theres sometimes a bump when replacing a coach, just like when replacing the QB.  Eagles won when Carson was pulled.  We cant afford another win if Doug is fired.  Let him go down with the ship, and clean house Jan 4.

It also would most likely make Duce the HC for the last game.  Then they win, Lurie thinks Duce is the answer at HC and they just continue down the same road.

I want to clean house.  We need fresh faces in NovaCare.

Lol sure I have

Wentz is clearly a franchise QB and Hurts is clearly a mid-tier prospect

Sorry your opinion sucks and you thought this was all on Wentz.

I and many others literally told you exactly how this would play out, that Hurts was merely a gimmick to buy Doug some time and eventually the league would catch up to it.

Yet a few quarters of good play still has you fooled into thinking Wentz forgot how to play football and Jalen Hurts is Russell Wilson

Wentz will be here next year, as the franchise QB, which is exactly where he should be.

Snap count takeaways:

K’von Wallace must really suck.

The WR rotation is a complete joke and exposes how clueless these coaches are.

Goedert is officially injury prone.

Wow.  I don't usually listen to Joe Giglio, and everytime something is posted that he says, it seems to be dumber than the thing before.  That's ESP level stupidity right there.

How do you know?

Because he gets nicked up constantly.  He was limping around again yesterday.

You also have to compete with other franchises, start early avoid the rush

Black Monday.  That's the starting line.

Doug ran a dumb, trick play in a meaningless time in the ball game yesterday.

It wasn’t dumb, and it wasn’t a meaningless game to them for obvious reasons.

Joe Giglio is a hot take idiot.  Andy's time here was clearly over and he really needed a change of scenery.

WR rotation:

With no due respect to Reagor, we have needed a deep threat all year and completely lacked one.  Hightower, overall as a WR, has been terrible...but has shown interesting ability to separate deep, much more so than Reagor.

Earlier in the year, it was all Hightower, all the time as he screwed up all over the field.  Now it’s all Watkins and Hightower is dead to them.

These same coaches will force feed steady opportunities to Alshon and Desean when they are available.

They couldn’t create a more uniform and steady exposure for Hightower/Watkins to get them up to speed than this?

Your binky has been getting worse for 3 years in a row leading to this years dumpster fire performance.  You have excuses for 12 games of abject failure by your boy, who is in his 5th season, while frothing at the mouth to finally talk smack when the rookie has one bad game.

This team isn’t run by Carson addicts and lovers like you.  By all means continue indulging delusions that your beloved "franchise qb” will have a glorious comeback here for the next few months until they ship his ass out.  Then it’s time for you to find that Colts board and shell out for that Indy #11 jersey and switch your allegiance.

Probably in the minority here, but unless we're getting like a top 40 pick for him, I'd keep Sanders.

This team isn't competing for at least a few years. Might as well keep Sanders and run him into the ground while we rebuild the rest of the team and then let him walk in FA.

Also, can we please get Watkins on the field more?

The new GM needs to make the new hire.  The coach and GM need to be on the same page... these two haven't been.

okay they can both go this week.

See my post from earlier.  Hayden Hurst was traded for a 2nd and 5th.  No reason Goedert couldn't bring back the same.  I have a crazy draft scenario of trading back, getting another 2nd and drafting Kyle Pitts in the middle of the 1st.  Those trades would give the Eagles 3 2nd round picks to start building this team.

K'von Wallace has done nothing to show me he can be an answer at safety.  Yet ANOTHER pick failing to produce.

agree

I think it's actually somewhat difficult to properly evaluate a lot of the players on the team. The coaching on both sides of the ball has been so bad, that it's really hard to get a true sense of where guys talent levels are. And look at some of the guys who've left, Rasul, Agholor having a great year (tho his time here was up, no argument there, but he does have talent).

With all the cap issues we're looking at, I think it's fine to purge who and what you can to really setup for 2022. But bring in a new coaching staff on both sides, and use 2021 as an evaluation year for who will be here long term and who won't be. I think it's somewhat baseless to proclaim that a lot of the guys on the team aren't talented and will never amount to anything. Including both QBs, quite frankly.

It's just....insane how far and fast the entire team has collapsed. But here we are. I think Howie needs to go as well, his time has finished here, but my gut tells me Lurie will keep him around and fire the coaching staffs (please God, let Stoutland stay).

If we draft anything other than DBs and O Linemen in the first 5 rounds of this draft then we need to fire everyone.

I think Hurts missed a lot of open receivers by ducking and running after his first read was taken away. He scrambled out of a lot of clean pockets.

Yep. That’s how he plays QB.

They are 3 years away from being remotely competitive.  RB have very short shelf lives.  Trade him for a good value.  Fire Howie and bring in a real football guy to make the pics.

Use him up and let him sign elsewhere. We're still gonna need offense.
