If I get a 1st round pick from Atlanta in 2022... then that's going to be a top 10 pick.

I hate when people use yards as justification for how great a player has looked. The eagles had 477 yards yesterday and scored just 17 points. Yards aren’t an entire indicator of how a offense is running. If you turn it over a ton and fail to finish off drives then the yards become hallow and meaningless.

The eagles had yards against the cardinals in the second half and scored just 6 points. The second half of games over the last three weeks has shown a poor ability to adjust to what defenses are showing you after they pick up what you are doing and adjusting. First half over the last 3 weeks the eagles have scored 17,20 and 17. They have had total yards of 299, 218 and 295. second half over the last 3 weeks 7,6 and 0. Total yards in the second half 104, 231 (includes pi yards) and 182. the adjustments we are not making are showing up.

JJAW, a year of free gatorade.

DJax and Alshon, premium AFLAC membership

Brooks and Lane are here for 2021 while grooming replacements for 2022.

Ertz, 3rd round pick at best.

No way I’d give up the year of Gatorade for JJAW ... you ever taste how good Citrus Cooler is?

Yep, Carson led the Eagles to 14 points with 222 total yards of offense.  So 255 more yards netted 3 points.

And I will keep putting this stat out, since Hurts became the starter, he has led the Eagles to points on 2 of 18 second half drives.

Could get as high as #3. Can't be lower than #10.

Likely to be somewhere around #5.

Assuming atlanta, Houston and the bengals lose then the eagles lose then we are likely picking five. Someone out in tate posted that the packers and Saints would both have to lose and chargers and dolphins win to leap frog them in terms of SOS. also no more coin toss

Counting rushing yards with a QB is a bad way to evaluate a QB too.   But, he ran for 69 yards.... big whoop.   That's not how you evaluate QBs.  Those are bonus and should never be the goal.

What is our draft scenario. How low/high of a pick can we expect and what is the most probable eagles pick.

If we lose and the Texans, Falcons and Bengals all win then we move to #3. I don't think that's likely to happen as the Texans play the Titans who need to win their division, and the Bengals play the Ravens who are fighting for a wildcard spot. Also the Falcons play the Bucs who may have something to play for too.

Yup. I don't think Gatorade goes for that, seems like a lopsided trade, then again it's been a while since Howie has fleeced any one in a trade...

We should easily lose on Sunday meaning we can do no worse than 6th, and that is where I think we pick. We could sneak up a pick or two, but can only reach the 3rd pick with a host of miracles

I don’t see any of those teams winning, or even in the game in the 2nd half for that matter

So 54 first half points and only 13 second half points with Hurts at QB.  Yeah, that looks like solid proof that the opposing DC adjusts to what the Eagles do and then neutralizes our O.  Wonder how the Wanker Football Team will come out?  They have a good D anyway, but will they come out playing zone and take away Hurts running ability and make him throw from the start?  I think they'd have to if they look at the game tape over his first 3 games since if they allow us to get  out to a lead they might not be able to catch up.  Their O is not good, though our D can be the cure to an opposing bad O sometimes.

BTW, any word on Mailata?  Last I heard he was being evaluated for a concussion from that dirty headbutt hit, but nothing confirmed.

Technically it’s 19 possessions if you wanted to count the end of the game possession against the Saints. But really it is more of 18. That’s 11% of their second half drives have resulted in points. Now some of this also falls on circumstance of having to go for touchdowns late and not get field goals. Then again you put yourself in position to have to go for them cause you weren’t finishing drives off prior to those circumstances.

We need a 2008 style pile of dominoes... let's hope.

Stupid win against the Saints.  We should have that #3 virtually in the bag.    Also, stupid Even Engram gave the Eagles another win they shouldn't have.  If he catches that one ball... the Eagles lose to the Giants twice.

2020, Eagles are second in yards per carry, 23rd in total carries, and total carries has gone up because the QB is running.  Before Hurts became the starter, we were 29th or worse in total carries week to week, and at some points we were tied for first in yards per carry.

The thing with Washington is if Alex Smith plays in that game and I’m guessing he is going to play their offense is actually competent. When you add the fact that McLaurin is going to be back and our secondary is basically shot it is a recipe for Washington to have sustainable offense and drives.

The front for for Washington is a complete mismatch for the Eagles offensive line. They have the athletes to neutralize Jalen hurts so he cannot beat them with his legs. So he is going to have to win that game from the pocket because I don’t think he’s going to get the lanes or has the athleticism to overcome the DL unit the Washington football team can put out there every single play.

Also just pointing out the DT position after Fletcher Cox left the game left a lot to be desired. A lot of people are not talking about this but for the fact that we are paying Malik Jackson and Hargrave big time money and most places around the league they would both be starters. I was super underwhelmed from what the Eagles got out of those two yesterday after Fletcher Cox left the game. With the money they are making they have to be more impactful than what they were.

Never gotten 21 carries... wow.

we are easily the 3rd worst team in the league this year.

I disagree in the fact that in the nfl teams do turn it around quickly. Just need a few good players and a proper scheme. That being said ... we need a few good players ands a scheme that works.

After Chip was fired some were saying we were 5 years away from contending again.  You can turn things around quickly.

Coming out of halftime yesterday, Shannon Spake asked Doug if they were considering making any changes defensively to try to counteract the mismatch between Gallup and Jacquet.  According to her, Doug said "there’s not much we can do because of all the injuries "

Just another example of how far over his head Doug is right now

Not defending doug or the eagles lack of committing to the run but outside of the 82 yard td run against the Saints, sanders hasn’t been overly effective the last 3 weeks outside of that run. He’s had 45 other carries over the 3 weeks and just 154 yards so 3.4 yard per carry. Now this is an all on him. Some good run defenses in Saints and solid cardinals. Some not so great run blocking. Some on Sanders. Someone dug for not allowing him to stay in a rhythm and getting away from him for long stretches.

Clearly make the argument that if you give him enough touches eventually he’s going to break one because that seems to be what we’ve seen. So that is a justification for giving him more and more touches

I agree about the yards as they mean nothing if you're not scoring.

But at least they are moving the ball the last 3 games under Hurts.

They should if for no other reason than to stick it to NBC for putting this garbage-tier game on SNF.
