and if the carson addicts are going to think that carson is going to change 180 if he gets traded is the same as ben simmons will just all of sudden shoot the ball if he gets traded, we changed coaches he still wont shoot the ball, it will the same outcome if the eagles changed coaches and carson will still pick his favorites to throw and get sacked.

Yes, because the performances of Wentz and Simmons are tied together in a mechanistic and deterministic way.

They prioritized winning over doing the right thing.

Honestly because Ron Rivera went through cancer treatment and is still not in the clear it was so selfish of him to go out and do that. You know your coach is dealing with that and something like Covid could be deadly to him. And yet he still went out there and did it anyways. If I were Ron Rivera I would’ve want him cut the moment that came out. It’s one thing to do something like that but another when you know somebody in your immediate circle is a high risk person

They're unreliable because coaches but them in spots to fail. Trust me, Im happy we sh!t the bed this year for better picks and a different coaches but this roster is WAY BETTER then the fan base thinks. and my point was 9 wins means you have a good roster. 9 wins was your words. and if you have a 9 win roster, and a LEGIT top shelf coach he can win you a game or 2(see what shannhan is doing with nothing right now) and now youre talking 10 or 11 win team.

Ahhhh maybe offensively but the defense is complete garbage bro. The only sure positives on offense are Sanders, Goedert, Mailata, Kelce if he comes back and LJ if he stays healthy. Hurts is a question mark because we don't know his ceiling, Wentz needs a foot in the a** to get back to his old self, Ertz is likely gone, Ward is a good backup, Reagor we have no clue if he is another Agholor or if the coaches didn't get the best out of him.

Defensively were a joke. The D-Line is the strength but injuries could make it one of the worst D-Lines real quick. Linebackers suck, Singleton has a shot but he could be a bright star in a dark room. Besides Slay all our safeties and corners blow.

Howie's drafts have really hurt this organization. But so has the coaching. I'm so sick and tired of watching players succeed whom we passed on and players we let go, go one somewhere and succeed. If players HAVE to leave here for a change of scenery in order to succeed then that falls on the coaches for not getting the best out of them.

This team is in trouble.

Nope.  I am an Eagles fan, I never quit on the team, no matter how bad it is.

More than likely Wentz is not going to be traded.  Jeff Lurie is not going to take on the biggest dead cap hit in NFL history.  Jalen Hurts has done nothing to prove he should be the QB moving forward.

LETS TRY DISCUSSING THE ISSUES

Jalen Hurts has lead the Eagles to points on 2 of 18 second half possessions.  That is a HUGE red flag.  Try discussing this issue without bringing up Carson Wentz.

Totally different scenarios in each of the 3.

No one will give you a 1st after the 2nd rounder played 4 games.

No one will give you a 1st or a 2nd knowing you have the cap mess you have.

3rd... and thats being POLITE

Kolb only started 5 games and he was older than Hurts.

The teams needing a QB won’t care what cap mess the eagles have. They will be wanting their QB. The eagles have a cap mess regardless if they trade Wentz/Hurts or if they keep both.

Man, imagine how bad our secondary gets torched by the receivers in the NFC east with Golladay on the Giants 😓

I have to imagine Washington adds a WR at some point this offseason. Whether FA or draft. I expect them to draft a QB high if they lose on Sunday. If they make the playoffs not sure they pay the price to move up or think one is worthy of where they are picking.

Would you at least concede he is a rookie thrown into the mess of a team in the 11th hour, to expect consistent greatness is stupid.

What’s everyone’s prediction for GM, HC, and QB in week 1 of the 2021 season?

My thought...

GM: Howie but Dorsey gets some random title and is in charge of the draft

HC: Doug with Duce being a dark horse.

QB: Wentz

Probably late to the party but Dwayne Haskins officially cut.

Dude sucked. This is why Id run from Just Fields.

And I thought the Giants should have took him instead of Daniel Jones.

Shows what I know.

If Doug gets the ax next Monday, which coaches do you think have a shot to come back under the new regime?  If I remember correctly; Fipp, Stoutland and Duce made the transition from the CK staff.

Got it dude, you think I'm wrong and every insider is wrong.

Lmao yeah all those "insiders”

Nothing like a guy that can’t admit being wrong a sources "insiders” with no names.

You know what's funny?

The Eagles will somehow pull off a win against WFT that:

Enables Dallas to win the division

Screws their draft pick

Keeps Howie and Doug their jobs by having the team "compete with nothing to play for"

In all honesty, it's the most Eagles thing that could possibly happen.

In a league that emphasizes the passing game like never before, the Eagles' worst two units are arguably the WRs and the DBs.

Roster building, Howie Roseman style.

Depends who the new coach is and if he wants to keep anyone or bring in a whole new staff.

Keep Stoutland. The rest can all go.

Every team has unreliable players.

The difference is Doug wants to use Alshon like hes 24, and it makes our roster look worse.

And because doug wants to use him like hes 24, it makes guys like Fulgham and Watkins sit the bench.

Because Doug refuses to use Reagor at PR/KR we question our first round pick. A first round pick that could get us better field position each drive that lightens the load of play calling where we can run the ball. And as everyone knows running the ball hides a bad offensive line, and it also controls time of possession. Which ultimately keeps our defense fresh, which helps hides a defense.

I stand by my comment. This roster isnt a 4 win roster. It may not be 12 or 13. But it's not 4 and most of the fan base thinks its a 2 win roster

I think this roster is better than a 4 win roster when they are healthy. However you are fooling yourself if you think 9 wins is something you wanna pat yourself on the shoulder and be thinking it’s some sort of great accomplishment. You’re in purgatory at that point. Add on even if they got nine wins I would say their roster is on the decline based off the fact they are relying on so many older players who are going to see a bigger decline as we go forward and not enough young talent infused

Other teams have unreliable players but they don’t have a massive amount of unreliable players that they are desperately hoping stay healthy. That’s a major difference. They may have one or two or three that they were relying on the Eagles have about a dozen they are relying on or giant question marks. And if they’re in the position the Eagles are they likely aren’t doing very well either. Or there at the end of their era giving it one last shot

I’m just gonna point out even with solid coaching the Eagles ceiling for this year in my opinion was a 9 win team based off talent if that talent stayed healthy. Again I don’t disagree with some of your points about coaching. In fact I’ve said that at times this year. However it also goes back to talent. The Eagles have old deteriorating talent that is carrying the roster. The young guys that they have drafted are Sanders, Dallas goedert, mailata, sweat and Barnett. Reagor even with better coaching I don’t think he’s a major impact player as a rookie. He wasn’t Polished coming out of TCU so the fact that he didn’t have an entire off-season probably meant it was not a smart idea just to rely on him week one as a starting wide receiver

You might think this team is closer to being a playoff caliber team I do not think so. I think you’re likely more to see the Eagles roughly around 7-8 wins next year and maybe by the time you get to 2022 with enough cap space cleared and heading on to draft they are back into being a playoff caliber team that can go far as a 10 win or better team.

I thought of this too.  But Dallas still needs to beat the NYG which isnt a given.

Regardless I cant see us scoring on their defense.  But it would be the Eagle thing to do.

Now what I expect is that QB1 and QB2 both had the same issues, with the same coaching and have the same end results.

*MAYBE* the issue wasn't with QB1, Maybe it was the coaching...

You fail the moment you compare a former number 2 overall pick 5th year QB making 100 million to a rookie 2nd round pick.

Press Taylor and Justin Peelle also survived CK firing. I think Stoutland is the only one worth bringing back. I'd guess Lurie also would bring back Duce which would be "meh" to me.

I think Duce Staley would be the favorite for head coach. If he didn’t get it, he’d probably want to move on.

Darius Slay is probably thinking that he left the Lions to basically join the Lions. 😄

I think it would be best to 100% clean house.
