And Howie will play them until he can get out of those contracts. It's a deep oline class. I doubt they go oline in the 1st unless Sewell falls to them which I don't see or they trade back into the middle of the draft

I agree with Sewell.  The Eagles first pick will probably be CB or DE unless Sewell is there.  They won't take a top 10 pick for a guard.   I don't see them going WR again ala Matt Millen.  They will repair the lines and count on that making the overall team better.  I don't see Howie trading down and that would be risky with Howie's draft history.  He would be better off using that top 10 pick.

For a 100 Schrute bucks who knew this tidbit:

Smith's father is FedEx founder Frederick W. Smith.

DE class is weak. Rousseau is the top guy but has character issue and is a bit of a project. He'll probably be the only DE to go in the 1st. Kid from Pitt might squeak in towards the bottom of the first. I wouldn't mind if they took Surtain. Question is will he be there. If Chase and Surtain are there I'm not sure which way I would lean

Lane and Brooks are dealing with serious injuries.  Brooks has now had two significant lower leg injuries/achilles.  And, they both are in their 30s now.  The Eagles should absolutely go O-line heavy in the draft.  I know a lot of fans hate O-line draft picks because they don't make highlight reels, but we won the SB in 2017 largely due to our OL.

Biggest question is you draft a 1st Olineman who you getting rid of? Brooks? Lane? Taking a cap hit and you don’t draft a guy Top 10 to watch.

I really doubt they go either line with their first. No DE’s worth it, don’t need another DT, no T outside of Sewell worth it. G would be the wild card pick, I think CB or WR is the likely pick. Knowing Howie it could just as easily be QB

Sewell or Chase

Need some good vibes, have a 12 point lead in my fantasy bowl, gotta hold off Diggs.  Non PPR, and he is projected to score 12.  Difference between $ 300 and $ 600 dollars.

Split it and take $450 each.

Greg Ward... leading them all again.  It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

Greg was your focus?  How about Arnold over Wallace? Bachie over Bradley? I am greatly concerned about the front office evaluation of defensive players.

Same with fulgham, same with Hightower....man even freaking jjaw recovered fumble for a TD that one game and we never saw him again after that. Reagor returned a punt for td and lost his punt return duties. Where the F did Richard Rodgers go? Smh Welcome to the Eagles where u make a play and to the bench you go 👉

Jason Croom caught a TD and was released the next morning. This organization is ran by idiots.

Like they were trying to lose

If Doug gets fired, would love to see the bills offensive coordinator be our next head coach. He has taken an erratic gunslinger and turned him into a high-efficiency passer.

I thought he was injured and that's why he was MIA?

I wasn’t joking about injuries. But, he’s hated by many here.
Best Special Teams we’ve ever had to.

Josh Allen rolling out ... imagine that.

I thought I saw him in there when they were reviewing that Hurts fumble that Gregory caused.  You know the one where his knee was down but they still gave it to Dallas.

But other than that I dont know if he was hurt or what?  Alot of people on these boards didnt want him to play anyway so they shouldn't be mad.

Might not be a popular opinion but Chip is a good coach.

He just didnt know how to speak to grown men.

I agree with both statements.

Some guys are just better off in college - Nick Saban for one.

The entire secondary has been abysmal and the LBs terrible.  And I've been quite vocal about the frustrations I have with this entire organization top to bottom.    But, we spent a first round pick on a WR, not a S or LB.   Greg Ward has been misused for the entire season and yet, there he is back for punts, no matter how bad he's been.  And Ward having 2x to 3x more snaps than any other WR on the team in that game is ridiculous.   You think there might be an issue with assessing (and developing) WRs, too?

I know you always get defensive about Ward because he went to Houston or whatever.   They throw out Alshon, Desean and Ward like they have a future here... but they are all stunting the possible growth of the WRs behind them that might.   The fact that Greg Ward gets as many snaps as he does, has as many targets as he does, and catches and Fulgham still has more yards than him is pathetic.  He's got 8 ypc!  That's worse than TE figures.   Zach Ertz is averaging nearly 10.  Goedert over 11.

Greg Ward is likely a great guy, but serves as a symbol of everything that's wrong with this offense, along with your other guy... Boston Scott.  Not their faults, they are what they are, but how this team is forced to (or chooses to) use them makes me sick watching the game, each and every week.

False.  The reason some folks didn't want him to play was so that he wouldn't force a healthy young WR that might have a future to be inactive.  But Hightower was inactive again, so how many snaps or targets was irrelevant.  But him to be active and then injure himself being an ass just added injury to the insult.

You would think an intelligent coaching staff might save the smoothie recipe after chip was fired and/or implement some of the sports science strategies chip used while he was in Philly. All 3 years we were top 3 most healthy. As soon as he leaves were consistently top 3 most injured. Howie probably thought he was smarter than chip and the smoothies were useless and then here comes Doug feeding the guys ice cream instead
