Even Harrison had 10 pounds on him and was an inch shorter so he was a bit more compact.  I just want nothing to do with a guy that skinny given all the injury issues the Eagles have.  Just asking for him to get destroyed out there.

He gets drafted here he probably wont do anything.  He goes anywhere else, he'll probably be an all pro.

That's the kind of luck we've had at the WR position.

Anyone watching the game yesterday that doesn’t agree with me that CB is the greatest need for this team after watching Jacquett?  Yesterday we saw what happens when 3/5ths of your OL starters are out and you are down to third stringers at T.  Also half of the DL rotation out and half of the starters in the defensive backfield and really 3/5ths of the DBs. Ugh.  Now I am concerned that our draft choice defensive players are getting less playing time that a street free agent UDFA LB and a slow UDFA S.Schwartz is overrated as a DC and awful in his positions on defensive player evaluations.  Pryor isn’t any good.  Survived longer than a lot of sixth round picks. Doubt he makes the team next year.

This coming game needs to be treated like a fourth preseason game. Cox, DJax and Jeffery inactive. JJAW and Hightower active.  Starting WRs, Reagor at X, Fulgham at slot, Watkins at Z.  Sub Ir switch to Reagor at Z, Hightower in slot and JJAW at X.  Let Fulgham have some X routes and and Hightower some Z.  Let Greg get a breather.  I have no issue with playing this OL but if Wanogho is a go, give him some tackle reps.  When the sub Sudfeld in for Hurts, let Juriga get some reps at C.  Let Kelce get a breather.  IR Goedert and activate Butler.  Let Butler, JJAW and Wilson play TE.  Heck, if they could find a roster spot (IR DJax, for example), I would play Coombs at TE, too.  Frankly, any RB besides Boobie.  Let Clements have his swan song .

If Leblanc and James are healed, activate them. Williams and McGill starting at DT.  Avery in place of Graham, Ostman in place of Curry.   I don’t mind Singleton starting but with Bradley.  If Taylor is healthy, activate him.  IR Cox for a spot.  Make room where needed. Wallace needs to start.  Fine with Epps playing FS.  Don’t play, unless need necessitates, any players on expiring contracts like Mills and NRC. We want to see players that will be in camp next year.

Might it be a blood bath?  Yes, but if a player wants to show they should count against the cap, this is a prove it game. DJax got his record yesterday.  I would give Curry and Clements snaps this week.  Likely their last and both have been raised Eagles fans that got to reach their dream to play for their team.

Except Doug will put all his guys out there like it’s for a playoff spot. It’s coming.

Some positives because I am a glass half full and rising guy.

Before injury, Goedert has looked good.
When Boobie is on, he is on. Scott has played better towards the end of the season.

Greg Ward could be a Steve Largent type of safety valve player.  Gets open and catches the ball.

Watkins was impressive at using his speed and catching the balls.

Herbig seems to provide solid depth for the interior line.

Singleton ran down Amari Cooper. Solid backup and ST player.

Williams has played solid ball at DT, could be a rotation player.

Fulgham hit 500.

Hurts is getting experience.
Gotta like the experience Mailata is getting.
Say what you will about overpaid and done vets, but DJax and Jeffery did what it took to get back on the field. Don’t let the door hit your butt on the way out.

Nope.  Still not the greatest need.  The greatest need remains getting a proper NFL offense around whomever the QB is going to be.  Doesn't matter to me anymore.  Just don't handicap the QB and make him look like he's never played football before.

CB is a need, no doubt.  But, the offense being a mess is destroying QBs.  We can't have that.

Defense wins championships. We part on this one.

I’m a half empty guy and half empty means it’s completely empty. We’re complete horse crap ... but I like your enthusiasm.

Lurie shouldn’t give him that option.

I'd settle for just having 2 or 3 more ACTUAL CB's on the team instead of the 8 vertically challenged nickel and dime CB's we ask to play outside.

There’s always the chance he is the next Marvin Harrison, but given our track record,  he will be slightly taller Freddie Mitchell

I posted a video a few pages back. You can’t see his right knee. It was a Cowboys right knee you saw. Hurts right knee probably landed on top of the Cowboy

Nope. You can't see his right knee.  His left knee is visible and the ball coming loose and the knee hitting the ground is pretty close to simultaneous.   That play wasn't egregious.  The one in 2019 (or was it 2018) on the opening kickoff was amazingly terrible.

🤷‍♂️ He was down by contact with the left knee anyway IMO

Devonta Smith is a better more productive receiver at the same school that Jeudy and Ruggs came from. Everybody loved them last year. Having major concerns about Smith because he is 175 lbs is silly.

I was an Oilers fan and in high school watched the back to back 1-13 seasons in 1972-73. The Eagles are nowhere near that bad. Those 1-13 seasons weren’t caused by injury. We have become so used to winning that there is overreaction to a bad season.

If they're paying analytics guys , they should definitely hire guys for sports science. Also , the same way we hired John Dorsey to help the Gm with the draft, we should hire an offensive mind to help Doug  (offensive coordination) to either restore Wentz or develop Hurts...or both.

The Eagles have a staff of 14 in their sports science and conditioning group.  I wish I was kidding.  If you look on the Eagles website and search FO, it’s there

I wonder what team is going to give Cam another chance or if he'll go for a backup role

Must be nice to have a stud receiver

I really hope Wentz works with a guy like Jordan Palmer in the offseason. Palmer worked with Josh Allen in the offseason and helped take him to another level this year. Palmer also worked with Joe Burrow as well.

I really hope Jeffrey Lurie makes Wentz work with Jordan Palmer.  If I was paying Wentz’s salary, I would be insisting.

A draft pick isn’t gonna solve that though. To have a better offense we need to get rid of Doug and bring someone who understands players strengths and how to play to them. Let’s not even discuss decision making and getting the plays in on time.

Quite a bit of that falls on the coaching. The Eagles really stink especially on their opening 2nd half possessions regardless if it's Wentz or Hurts. This coaching staff isn't adjusting.

The reports from when he worked with someone on the outside was the organization wasn’t happy. Remember, they are smarter than everyone else.

This Bills offense is so fun to watch. Reminds me of the 2017 Eagles. They're a force.

I'm hoping the Eagles get their OC as the new head coach. But, he will be a hot candidate and he will probably want to go to a team that will allow him a little more personnel influence than he would get working with Howie.

IDK what games people are watching to suggest we would get anything better than a 4th.

There are more QB needy teams right now than there are available competent QBs.  Fans in DEN are getting impatient, fans in NE aren’t going to stick around if their team isn’t relevant.  SF has Nick Mullens starting, and Jimmy G isn’t any better than him.

There will be a market.  I’d be very surprised if a team doesn’t pay a 2nd round pick.

This has been the most miserable football season of my life. I have not enjoyed one single second of it. Eagles or otherwise. I'm totally miserable watching football these days. Every game all I can think of constantly is all the guys we should have and could've had if Howie wasn't so bad at his job. I honestly don't even know why I'm watching anymore. Half the games I spent half of my attention on other things.

I'm not doing this for another season. This is absolute hell and I'm tired of being miserable and bored. Lurie, please make the change.

He may be out of the league. Not starting anywhere ever again.

Here’s hoping tens of millions of dollars of dead money will give him a different perspective on the situation.  😂
