This has been the most miserable football season of my life. I have not enjoyed one single second of it. Eagles or otherwise. I'm totally miserable watching football these days. Every game all I can think of constantly is all the guys we should have and could've had if Howie wasn't so bad at his job. I honestly don't even know why I'm watching anymore. Half the games I spent half of my attention on other things.

I'm not doing this for another season. This is absolute hell and I'm tired of being miserable and bored. Lurie, please make the change.

Who are you changing your avatar to on April 29 when the Eagles inevitably select someone other than Ja’Marr Chase?

He may be out of the league. Not starting anywhere ever again.

I think he's another QB that was essentially ruined. I think he could have had a great career

Nothing because I'll be going on hiatus if that happens. If the Eagles pass on Chase(unless it's for Sewell) and/or Lurie keeps the status quo with their organization, I'm taking a year off from football and focusing on other things with my life. It's making me miserable and sports is supposed to be fun. I don't look forward to Sundays anymore, I dread them.

He literally can’t throw the ball anymore. He’s done.

If the Eagles choose Rousseau, a QB, or go off the reservation with another special surprise draft pick, something will get broken in my house.

I’ll miss his press conferences after a loss.  He just never had it upstairs to be a great player.  He’s also a selfish knob who didn’t even want to jump on his own fumble in the Super Bowl

Maybe if we played Hurts in the first half of games next season,  and switch to Wentz for the second half.

In a normal year, I'd do the same. Now I'm just so defeated and apathetic at this point, I really have no energy or passion left to get mad about it. I used all that up this past April.

Howie had the worst WR group in NFL history, had one offseason to make it right, and he waited until April to add any WR and the WR he added so far has been one of the worst in the entire draft class. It's just unfathomable how someone could be so incompetent and have their job totally secure.

This year's group might even be worse than last year's. He did nothing to upgrade it. He's so bad. I'm just so done with all of it. Not gonna allow this dude to give me an ulcer.

You mean nobody other than Doug tells the Fox sideline reporter "there’s not much we can do; we have a lot of injuries”?

It was only the Super Bowl and the game was on the line. What you want him to do get dirty?

It was like this as a fan quite a bit before Howie. Welcome to Eagles fandom.

Agreed. Not a single game was enjoyable. I had some faith early on but by week 5 I realized that it was hopeless. Did we find a future star out of the draft picks? NO. All backups are jags and starters are old and injury prone. No clarity at QB. There is no magic fix for this mess. Might be a multi year rebuild.

I was on my way there in 2015. Had they retained Chip Kelly, I wouldn't have watched the 2016 season. I was just defeated and felt sick. Cutting DeSean, trading McCoy. He was going to cut Peters I think we all knew it. Then Lurie stepped up and canned him.

I hope he does the same with Howie, but I'm not expecting it. He needs to save this franchise from the people running it into the ground.

Bills OC for our HC.

I wonder if he needs surgery. It's strange how bad his arm has been getting

I really think next season will be the ultimate test for Roseman.  He is being given top 10 draft picks to work with. If he cant find good players drafting in the top 10, maybe top 5, then he will get fired after the 2021 season.

Yep, Daboll would be a good hire.

Before tonight's game these are Allen's stats.  That's a nice progression.  Good to have your QB workout with someone in the off season and have an OC who knows how to tailor the O to him.  Imagine that.

BTW, if you add his stats from tonight's game this is what they update to:

15 GP, 378 comp, 547 att, 69.1 comp%, 4320 yds, 7.9  YPA, 34 TDs, 9 INTs

If Lurie decides to move on to a new HC our top 3 candidates should probably be Daboll, Smith and Brady.

I get some of you are more concerned with the D and lack of DBs, but the bigger priority is to get this O sorted out and set it up so that whoever the QB is that he has everything he needs to both be as successful as he can and to not get his ass handed him to him nearly every game so that he regresses.  This isn't going to be a 1 season rebuild or turnaround so fix the most important thing now and then tend to the others later.

Exactly right — Daboll has done a hell of a job there.  When Josh Allen was drafted many people criticized the pick and said if a QB is not an accurate passer in college you cannot make him an accurate passer in the NFL.  Allen in many ways has been the perfect fit for that Buffalo market.  He embraced it right away, sought counsel from Jim Kelly, and has been more than a solid rep for the franchise.

It also shows what can happen when you go out and get a true #1 WR for your franchise QB.  I’m sure Wentz threw up more than once tonight if he watched the game

I lasted until DiNucci. The Giants game after was the nail in the coffin for me.

Thst used to be true.   Then the NFL made the rules all about the offense.  QBs win championships now.

If someone offers you a 4th for Ertz I think you offer to drive him to the airport at this point.  Not having a 4th because of the Avery trade is just killer.  The guy has done nothing.  Another absolute trash move by Howie.

Agreed

It would be great to have a stud WR
