Call me crazy, but the game plan needed more Hightower today.

They put Ramsey on either Desean or Reagor.  They then rolled safety help to the other guy.  Wentz was sufficiently erratic underneath that Goedert/Ertz couldn’t cause any fits. JJAW is useless.

There may have been a good opportunity to push the ball downfield with Hightower against pretty scant coverage.

What makes you think Carson wouldn't be erratic throwing downfield to Hightower?

Howie and Schwartz also need to answer why the hell they traded a 4th for Avery.  They just threw away a pick for nothing.

Possibly, but it may have been a good matchup.

For the same reason they threw away a 3rd on Golden Tate?

That’s one thing I do appreciate about BLG, and Kempski as well, they are brutally honest when critiquing the Eagles.

Another positive from this game is Aaron Donald wasn’t impactful on the stat sheet for this game. Good job by OL after last weeks disaster

I’ll give the Eagles O credit. They routinely limit his presence and are pretty successful at it. Donald has 0 career sacks against the Eagles, and it’s not just luck

They've been deluding themselves that they are a contender, but they haven't been since 2017.  Which was also a fluke season.

Take away the fumble on the opening drive and the Wentz interception, I think the offense as a whole looked pretty good today. The defense looked good in the second half for the most part. Not the end of the world. A lot of good players on this team.

Mahomes is great.  Carson isn't terrible.  Why do you want to hate your QB who has played really well for your team, has given it his all.  I don't get it.

So because I call him out when he plays poorly and don't think he's an elite franchise QB I hate him. Wow, your stupidity is astonishing.

I want to believe in Carson.  But after all this time, he is what he is.

I've defended him for five seasons, but I just can't do it anymore.

What is there to defend?  He was an excellent Rookie thrown into the starting role after breaking his wrist in pre-season and Bradford was traded.  MVP 2nd season.  Still recovering from ACL 3rd season.  Team gets destroyed with injuries in 3rd and 4th seasons, yet he has 81 tds and 21 ints in the past 3 seasons.  Just don't get this dislike for the guy.

The fact you think that was defending Wentz is hilarious

Ah so you are just mocking people here in the EMB for a joke. Got it....

End of reg. Chiefs/chargers, 20-20. going into overtime

Yup. Dallas needed an onsides kick, and Atlanta players literally stood there and watched it roll free and let Dallas recover.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a brain dead play even at a high school level.

I actually think the offense could be good if Alshon comes back healthy and Sanders continues to progress.

I think calling some in here people is a stretch.

Fair enough, saying you hate him was hyperbole, not stupidity.

I fully expected Chiefs to score at least 30 today, they didn’t & I lost my parlay.

He plays stupid after 5 years.  Still hasn't learned how to avoid hits.  Still hasn't learned how to throw the ball away.  Still hasn't learned to not force throws.  Still has inconsistent mechanics leading to errant throws.  Gets his receivers hurt and injured with errant throws.  Always gets himself hurt with his reckless play.

He was sold to us as a franchise savior, and unfortunately he's too erratic and inconsistent to ever be that.  He's topped out as an above average QB, and appears to be regressing before our eyes.

They played it like they didn't know they could recover before 10 yards. Very odd.

Once Alshon comes back, JJAW won’t even be dressing anyway.

I think JJAW has potential but he needs targets.  That said, the above is true.

Yep

Golden Tate was flawed logic.  They should have known better.  He was an underneath slot WR when that was what they already had.  Another example of Howie having no clue.  But at least there was a flawed plan.

Avery was just no plan.  A player who couldn’t dress for a lousy Browns team...traded for 1 round earlier than he was drafted...only to not dress here.  That’s like a sick joke.

The Doug Wentz combo is 14-16 since the 2017.

They've been a sub .500 team with Wentz for a while now. And a lot of those wins were beating up on the WFT and Giants.

I see no potential whatsoever.  He’s had bad hands as an eagle, although I suspect he might be able to fight through that.

He’s agonizingly slow.  And now that he lost this weight, he still isn’t fast...yet it also appears that he lacks the bulk to outmuscle dbs.

So I’m not actually sure what on Earth he’s useful for.

Yeah Doug and Wentz are like 7-15 versus non NFC East teams over the last two seasons.  Just fooling people by beating up on the absolute trash of the NFC East to backdoor into the playoffs.
