Ah so you are just mocking people here in the EMB for a joke. Got it....

Close, just mocking the irrational circle jerk for an unrealistic scenario that has less than 1% of actually happening, and not just limited to the EMB because it’s going to be all the "brilliant” ideas flooding across social media and radio waves, but yea

I miss having a defense with an elite line.

They played it like they didn't know they could recover before 10 yards. Very odd.

And it was the whole team. Like 3 guys watching it and no one just screaming to fall on it. I guess blame coaching for not teaching the most basic thing about an onside kick

Yeah, their special teams coach dropped the ball on that one, but you'd think professionals would know that by this level.

He plays stupid after 5 years.  Still hasn't learned how to avoid hits.  Still hasn't learned how to throw the ball away.  Still hasn't learned to not force throws.  Still has inconsistent mechanics leading to errant throws.  Gets his receivers hurt and injured with errant throws.  Always gets himself hurt with his reckless play.

He was sold to us as a franchise savior, and unfortunately he's too erratic and inconsistent to ever be that.  He's topped out as an above average QB, and appears to be regressing before our eyes.

I don't know - made it through 16 last year then gets knocked out by a cheap shot in the playoffs, so he learned some about not taking bad hits.  Every QB forces throws.  He's had 7 interceptions in each of the last 3 seasons, so he can't be forcing it too much, right?  Can't throw the ball away, that is true.

To his mechanics, this is the table I have been pounding today: standing in the pocket his mechanics erode.  Moving outside the pocket, they improve.  in 2019 his QBR outside the pocket was 94.4 - 126 for 177 (71%!) - 1,362 yards, 9 TDs- Zero interceptions with perhaps the worst WR group in the NFL.  Yet so far this season Doug has him standing like a rock in the pocket.  This is my whole point today: Doug is not allowing him to do what he does best, he is making him do what he does worst.

I think JJAW has potential but he needs targets.  That said, the above is true.

I’m not seeing it. His ceiling seems to be red zone target, at best. And we still haven’t seen him have a knack for contested catches he had in college

and the Chiefs win with a 58 yard FG.... 😕

Does this guy miss kicks? Wtf lol

Yep. Doug was why he forced a throw into double coverage when momentum had swung. Doug was also why he missed Goedert running all by himself for a TD. Doug was also to blame for him being wildly inaccurate for the second straight week. Just stop dude.

Potential for what. He's big and slow, can't run routes, can't separate, and drops passes.

/safety/linebackers/two decent cb

We are now the Jets

Pass was bad, but problem also is JJAW even with a step is so slow the defender can easily jump the route

Eh, what can I say, play to his strengths, you see different results.  Play to his weaknesses, keep seeing weaknesses.

This is what we brought in all those offensive minds for

I turned off the game with about 3 minutes left. Did they overturn that 2nd Wentz INT?

Just checked the box score, still listed as 2 INT.

Why did a few posters in here say Wentz only had 1 INT?

If his weaknesses remain weaknesses, then it’s all for naught anyway.

I don’t think this tells us anything. Wentz released the ball late and gave the defender a chance to make a play

Because they are shameless apologists for Wentz.

So it is JJAW's fault the ball was underthrown? Lead the guy to the back of the endzone. This is a throw any decent NFL QB can make.

No, it was an INT

It’s like you completely skipped over my first three words

If would be interesting to see if the Eagles didnt take him in the 2nd round where he would have gotten drafted.  My guess is 4th, 5th round.

Wentz underthrew it and threw it late.  And you don’t throw into double coverage in the end zone on first down.  Trifecta of Wentz mistakes there.

Ill blame JJAW for his "having a step” still being an incredibly tight window.  But that’s what you get when you intentionally draft a "contested catch” wr.  His catches are all contested, that’s for sure.
