I believe the Giants will win that game unless Daniel Jones gives it away.  When they were on their 4-game win streak they were imposing themselves on the opponent physically.  They are a lunch pail team that is playing hard for their head coach.  That’s the difference from the Eagles — the players might like Doug, but they’re not playing hard for him — there’s a difference there.

DAL will notice a big change this week from last week.  Gallup, Lamb, and Cooper all caught passes and ran like they were at a track meet.  Not gonna happen this week

Philly's secondary is terrible outside of Slay.  Cowboys last 3 games they've won....Bengals, 49ers and Eagles.....3 of the worst teams in football.

I wouldn't be shocked if Dallas wins but the Giants are going to be much tougher than their last 3 games.

This is why it's nonsensical to think a QB is a "bust" because of 1/2 of a football game...thank you, Reuben Frank...

Someone made a statement earlier on in the season that I gave blowback to, but I now sadly agree with — this Eagles team is closer to a one-win team than it is to a .500 team.

They beat teams that had to start Taysom Hill, Ben DiNucci, and Nick Mullens at QB — and barely beat them in those games.  The only starting QB the Eagles got a win against was Daniel Jones — and they were trailing by 10+ points with 5 minutes left in that game.

The Eagles have looked like a bad team in 15 out of 15 games this season.  If Doug is head coach and Hurts is starting QB next season, I can’t see any way the team doesn’t have an even worse record in 2021.

depends on if the coaches and gm are still here or not.

Some talent here. I like the idea of bringing in a FA every year on a 1 year rental like we did with Blount in ‘17. The RB position wasn’t good this year. Outside of Sanders there was a poor man’s Sproles and no north/south run game which is instrumental to Wentz.

It's just as nonsensical to think after 3 starts he will be a Future HOF'r

Wouldn't it be nice if they gave him the ball more often, and maybe he'd pop 3 more?   Wouldn't it be nice if the front office brought in a more talented RB as the #2 behind him as well?

Sure. I’d love it if we blocked better too.

We are gonna beat the dog ish out of the Skins

That’s a bold stance after the last performance against one of the NFLs worst defenses and Matt Pryor probably at LT

Trade Wentz to the Giants for Saquan Barkley straight up🤣🤣 Triple option with Hurts, Barkley and Sanders all day long.

That’s such a terrible take. "Let’s not rush to judgement after one game. Let’s rush to judgment of a full season after 3 games.”

And 42 fumbles.

Roob is really bad outside of old stories and data dumps.

Reub is a little off on his calculations.  It’s more like 27 TD, 14 INT and 4,300 yards passing, but the team is still 5 wins, 10 losses.

He jumps ship and on to another bandwagon as fast as anyone.  After watching Michael Jaquette give up 150 yards to Hopkins in AZ he was calling for him to be CB2 next year based off of how hard he fought and didn't back down.  He's kind of an embarrassing writer outside of his 10 observations after the game.

He's also petty and extremely defensive when anyone questions him on twitter.  He loves the  "but yet you follow me" or "easy block" responses.  He's acts like he's a fat overgrown teenage girl.

Hurts looks like a good backup QB, so mission accomplished for Howie. Helluva second round pick.

Pelle Lindburgh's death was a huge impact.  And maybe if he survives, things are different, but it would e hard to believe he'd have played better than Hextall in 1987.

But, the Flyers do pull back to their own past too much. Just look at their GMs.  Clarke, Holmgren, Hextall.... over about 35 years they've had those 3 guys (all Flyers alumni) for like 30 of them or something like that.

I think that's true to some extent but both Clarke and Hextall had GM experience prior to coming to the Flyers.  Clarke was looked at as a natural fit given the success he had in Florida prior to coming back to Philly.  Hextall's success in LA was touted.  So I don't think it was Snyder's blind reliance on people with a history with the team.

I’m sure he blocked a lot of people with his dumb data dumps about Jordan Matthews that showed he was as good as OBJ, etc.

Every time I see WFT my mind changes it to WTF.

It actually is a solid late second round pick if you’re a team close to a championship.

It’s hugely important in the NHL to have a stud #1 defenceman to help win championships.  MTL had Larry Robinson, NYI had Denis Potvin, NJ had Stevens and Niedermeyer .... even more recently CHI had Duncan Keith, LA had Drew Doughty, STL had Alex Pietrangelo — and TB has Victor Hedman

The Flyers haven’t had a great defenceman since Mark Howe in the 1980s.  They had Pronger for a brief time, and magically they reached a Cup Final with him in 2010.  For all the hand-wringing they do about goaltending, you need an elite blue liner just as much.

Why didn’t he project out the fumble and sack numbers, fumbles would’ve been significantly worse than Carson Wentz.

I mean how many good sports reporters are there?

A lot, actually. But I’ll bow out of the media discussion.

Fair point to be sure. Not really any good sports reporters, they all give hot takes for clicks. I'd rather just take in guys who analyze plays all day than listen to some of these idiots opinions.

Glad Brooks was able to practice some. Team player. Taylor needs to start this week so IR a player and activate him. Would like to see Wanogho play LT more than Toth if Jordan isn’t able to go.

Maybe I am not as aware as I once was.  Growing up I only really read about what the players and coaches said after a game in the paper.  There are too many journalists with just hot takes.  I think too often good stories are abbreviated and not as detailed as they once were.  It's a much tougher industry as well for journalists.
