We have a million holes and very few good young players. If we draft a RB in the top three rounds, shoot the FO to the moon.

What about a QB?

We are going to get clobbered, and I honestly could care less. I hope NBC is happy. Should be a 1 PM game.

I would play Hurts in the first half, then dress and play Sudfeld in the second half.

I’ve never been a Sudfeld fan, but he’s expressed a desire to move on somewhere he can compete for a job.  Do right by him; let him get some more tape out there to get himself a tryout with another team next season.

Make sure Wentz and Hurts get into the offseason healthy so that Wentz is a full go for training camp, and the Eagles get full trade value for Hurts

#55 for the Bearcats is a big dumb idiot.

Doug's comments today were very disconcerting.

Saying there's too many offensive voices and he needs more say.

Bro, you had say the last two seasons before this one. Your offense Fing sucked then too. It's sucked ever since Reich left. Let's not play this game that if everything would've been left the same with Mike Groh, everything would've been cool.

You know, I've been hearing some of this from the media too. "It's just one bad year." No. It's not. The Eagles sucked last year. Sucked. And if people can't see that, you need to get your head out of your ass and use some nuance in your thinking. Through November, the Eagles last season looked every bit as bad as this year's team. The difference was that fluky December against teams they barely beat. The slightest difference in variance and the Eagles find themselves sitting at home last year too. It's why I said last year making the playoffs was the worst thing to happen to them. Aside from losing draft spots, it convinced everyone with recency bias the team was better off than it was.

The Eagles offense isn't struggling because they have an "assistant coaching problem." They're struggling because the scheme sucks, the play calling sucks, the talent sucks. If Doug was able to sell Lurie on the offense sucking because they forced him to fire Mike Groh and hire a bunch of assistants then we're doomed.

Doing right by Sudfeld?    The LT is possibly going to be either Matt Pryor or Matt Toth.   The DEs from Washington are going to eat, especially with the division title on the line for them.

I feel bad for anyone who lines up at QB for this game.

Can't overturn that.   TD Bearcats.

I wouldn't be surprised if either Montez Sweat or Chase Young end up as NFC Defensive Player of the Week off this game.

I really thought the Eagles would win this game.  Seems they are embracing the single-game tank though.

They literally aren’t going to play anyone.  Except our young draft picks...playing them facilitates tanking.

I think this is Doug distancing himself from the staff changes and I wonder if it’s just a CYA to line up a new job or make Howie the problem.

The Bearcats are proving why the playoff needs to be expanded to 8.

In this season, they managed to go undefeated in 9 games.  Clemson lost to ND.  Then Clemson beat ND.  Both are in the playoff... ok.  But, should they be?   They are better than everyone they played... except for each other.   Alabama is undefeated.  OSU is undefeated.  But OSU played only 6 games.  Cincinnati is undefeated in 9 games.  Sure... not a 'Big 5' schedule.  Big whoop.   Get the smaller conferences involved in the playoff and make it actually INTERESTING.

Alabama, Clemson and OSU are pretty much going to be there every year.  At least with a field of 8, you might see some more interesting matchups than the same old same old.  In the BCS days, the Boise State games were always fun to watch, because they had 'nothing to lose'.

Why not both?    By making Howie the problem, he also looks better for lining up for a new job elsewhere.

Doug would be negligent if he calls mostly pass plays this week. You have to run the ball in this game.  I would pass less than 20 times.  Run the ball and keep the QBs healthy.

Gross... just GROSS that the "ROSE BOWL" is being played anywhere other than in the 'Rose Bowl'.    Even grosser that it's at Jerruh-world.

I agree. He’s in an all out campaign to point fingers at everyone but himself.  It’s not pretty.

Hot Take for 2021:

— Doug gets fired by Eagles,

— Doug gets hired by Jacksonville Jaguars to mentor Trevor Lawrence

He’ll throw it 20x by half ... the train keeps moving no matter what!!!

If they truly rule out all those players, then the front office is finally making good long-term decisions.

Why should this week be any different?

Neither the first nor the last thing to flee California restrictions for Texas.

Doesn't look good for Goedert and/or Rodgers.

Maybe Zach Ertz will put on a good show and increase his trade value.

That discussion can start if the Eagles get a coach who will run the ball.  Sanders could make a Pro Bowl if he were featured in this offense.

Can he stay healthy?

Is Goedert injured again?

If the Eagles had any money to spend on free agency, I’d be very concerned about potential free agents balking at coming.  It’s been like Russian Roulette these past 4 years with getting injured

oh my
