Miami, who likely will pick before us, are more likely to pick Smith than Chase if they go WR. Tua/Smith had great chemistry. 

As much as I want Chase, and I really want Chase, but Davonte Smith won't be a bad consolation prize.

Only in the blog have I seen anybody complain about the hit. It looked dirty to us fans. Doug brushed it off as just a football thing, which we could maybe disregard as another Dopey Doug thing. But then Tra Thomas and a few others all said it wasn’t dirty in their minds either, just something that happens because Mailata didn’t keep his head up essentially. So I’m not surprised there’s no fine.

Devonta Smith is the best player in college, and might be the 2nd best prospect in the draft...and I'd be terrified of drafting him in the top 6. 

 

DeVontae Smith looks faster than usual today.

DeVonta isn't going to blow you away with speed, but he has a nice glide when he's running laterally.
