Id still take 2-3 WRs in this class just because its so good. But I dont care to take one in round 1. Because the class is so good.

Here, I took three on day three.  I replaced Ward in the slot and got the JJAW receiver that Howie wanted.  I also fixed the secondary, assuming Maddox can play nickel, invested at LB and got a JJ style speedball, enhanced the interior of the OL and added depth  if only January First Pick trades were a reality. BTW, with Sudfeld gone, I added to the QB factory as well.  Jabril Cox at the end of the fourth, Linderbaum in the 6th and Toney in the 7th.   Hah. All this by dropping four slots in the first and three slots in the third. Hah

Looks like that is game right there.  OSU starts with the ball to start the 2nd half.

Fields legend status

that was a NFL throw

Fields is the better QB prospect in this game.

Huh, the next Elway has been pedestrian all night. Weird. He's already in the HoF, I thought?

He can throw 5 picks in a row right now and go number 1 lol

Fields' immobility after that hit reminds me of the McNabb game after he broke his ankle against the Cardinals.

Clemson needs to blitz the crap out of him and see how he responds to that.   They'll need turnovers to get back in this game, so maybe that will get them restarted.  But, they are in real trouble.

OSU scores a TD to start the 2nd half and time to move on to something else.  Won't be worth watching at that point.

Fields just moved to 2 for sure

He probably will and I will maintain that he's a bust.

Not saying he's terrible. Not saying he's not talented, but people think he's Elway. He isn't and never has been.

He's still clearly better than Wentz.

I have no doubt he will have some success in the NFL because dual threats are just tough to defend, and Fields is very fast. Faster than Mariota. I think Id compare him to Kyler Murray. His QB skills though, are just not going to allow him to be great. He will be average. And eventually deal with injuries from running.

Lawrence has missed several throws.

Hes about equal to wents. The difference that results in a better looking performance is level of competition. Lawrence in the NFL right now would give you a 2020 Wentz level performance if he was forced to throw from the pocket all the time. With his legs, he will give you a slightly better looking, but still not good Jalen Hurts type performance. Team will look more competitive, but the quarterbacking still isnt good.

Fields showing serious poise and toughness as well

The problem is they can’t cover.

But wait, so many people have told me he's the perfect prospect and it's ludicrous to not have him as a slam dunk HoFer already.

yeah. Thats what I tried pointing out millions of times last year when trying to show people Higgins was better than he looked on the surface. Lawrence isnt an accurate, nor cerebral QB. Hes an athlete.

Pretty interesting stuff. They take a lot into consideration too.

Combined with no WR separation seems about right.

Skalski probably helped out Bama more than anyone with that hit

Correct.   Might as well pressure the QB and make him make quick decisions.  It will be different for him, because he can't escape like he normally would... and really won't want to stand in there and take a hit to make a throw.

Nice that the announcers don't know the new rules for kickoffs.  He clearly called a fair catch.

When did that rule come into play this year?
