I’m being a tad sarcastic...

These are the two best QBs in the country. They should got 1-2 in the draft.

Ah... I didn't get the sarcasm.   Mainly because no one has made any comment at all about either of them dropping in the draft due to this game.

Sermon is really making a statement... "If I'm given the ball as a feature back, I will make plays."

That's not a TD... but regardless, he's answered the bell and then some.

Horrendous call.  Really bad.

Throw away

Yes, he should have.

Other than his elbow, shoulder and knee on the ground, Sermon was able to stay on his feet. Nice job, refs.

Feels like clemson’s tackling all night has just been horrendous even if that play he was down.

A lot of folks I follow on Twitter seem to think he was throwing it away. I haven’t seen the play. I’ve been flipping around.

Dear Howie...

If you want to add quality players to the offense at skill positions, just draft WRs from Clemson and RBs from OSU.

Thanks,
a concerned fan

That was a bomb omg

What a dart. Holy smokes.

Olave is NICE.  He's gonna make a great mid-round pick.

Cool.  I don't follow folks on Twitter, and watching the game live, it looked like he was trying to stick the ball in a tight hole.   Looked that way on the replay too.

Trying to slide past the number 2 pick.

Or go to the Jags

If Eagles don’t grab Chase or Devonta in first round, Olave would be an excellent round 2 option if he’s still there.

He wasn't throwing it away. Just a bad decision.

I don’t think he’s lasting that long in the draft.

Feels like Kendrick had a chance at that if he didn’t lay out too early.

CBs panic. They're scared to lose track of their WR if they turn their head around for the ball.

Still ways to go & I’ll have to watch more of him, but Yeah I think his range will be mid 1st to mid 2nd round.

2nd-3rd.

He's only 10 lbs heavier than Smith but looks much bigger.

This is not a Clemson D line.  Biggest difference in the game.  Venebles is getting worked by Day.

LOL. No.  Not in the 2nd.  Jesus.

Why not?  He's been a nice prospect for a few years now.  He's a smooth, fast WR.

Justin Fields in round 1?

And where would you rank him & why?

Reminds me of a lot of the conversations I’d in here about our corners. People say our corners aren’t taught to look back for the ball. That’s false. It’s in phase vs out of phase. If you’re beat, you’re out of phase and you play the ball through the receiver’s hands. If you’re in phase you turn to find the ball and make a play on it.

Just an aside.

Yeah 2-3 sounds right.

Yeah, that's the way they teach it. I'm not a big fan of it. In my opinion, once the ball is thrown, I don't really care about the WR. Locate the ball and get under it.

I had to google the hit lol

Years ago people would have cheered the hit. He was in a lose lose IMO. I think he was just using his shoulder but of course the helmet hits first as it always does

Trevor’s clearly throwing this game so Howie can bring him into the QB factory.
