I dont think I could give my tickets away for this game tonight if we werent banned by the state from going. This is just as bad as a week 4 preseason game.

I would go, specifically to make my voice heard to Jeffery.   I'd find where Jeff's box was... and would spend the entire game (until escorted out) yelling at Jeffery about how he's responsible this pile of steaming crap on the field.

What the actual F... Lurie needs to be held accountable.  There is NO FING JUSTIFICATION for this.  It’s pure nepotism, arrogance, and irresponsible.  Jeff has failed in his most basic obligations as team owner.

All ears on how you want to hold him accountable.

If there are 60K chants of "Fire Howie" every week on TV, then Lurie might care. But, that won't happen any time soon.  It will take a lot for Lurie to can Howie. It might even be worse than the Jerry Jones infatuation with Jason Garrett.

CIN get a pick on a tipped pass!

I'm going to laugh if Dallas loses today because a lot of Cowboys fans are crying about us not playing 9 players.

I kind of want dallas to win to f*** themselves on their draft pick positioning after we lose to Washington.

Someone needs to buy over a thousand cut outs saying fire howie.

cmon man, he held onto Reid for 4-5 seasons too long....

Doug actually won a sb, no way he gets fired by Jeff after one bad year no matter how disasterous. Our only hope was if Doug wants out.

I think everyone here has TV or internet at this point. Dont need play by play on every other game in the NFL. We already have it with redzone.

I'm only doing games with relevance to Eagles' drafting position.

Just got a notification on my tablet from NBC Sports Philadelphia, that Howie is expected to return.

Lurie is gonna get eaten alive at his year end press conference

The good news is you shouldn't have to worry about upgrading the service for this site if that happens.   Apathetic fans won't be around much to complain about Howie's gross incompetence.

I'd rather have them lose today. I'm pretty sure they will end up trading up for a QB though. I don't think they want Dak, even though they are pretending they do. If they thought he was the answer, they would've paid him before now. Also, he has a serious injury now, so they will definitely not want to pay him what he is asking for. I think Jerry is going to want a new QB to market.

Idk i think his presser is likely going to be similar to the one we saw at the end of 2011 tbh. Where he huffs and puffs but really it’s more of a front to save face and give the decision he made one more year

Sadly, I think that was expected anyway.

I’m going to tell you exactly what will happen with this draft.

Howie is so reactionary...completely flip/flops and over reacts year to year.  They will draft #6 overall.  3 qb’s, Sewell, and Chase will be off the board.  They will be choosing between Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle.

2019: Draft JJAW, more polished, more productive...but slower, less talented than the more explosive, talented, and raw Metcalf.  Rest is history.

2020: Overcompensate in the other direction.  Draft the raw, riskier, more explosive Reagor over the safer, more polished, more productive Jefferson.

2021: Flip flop again.  Smith is 170lbs soaking wet and not that fast.  But he has mega production and runs smooth routes.  They’ll draft the safer, more productive Smith over the faster, more explosive Waddle.

And watch Smith have the typical Eagles rookie WR season while Waddle is an instant smash hit who goes to the probowl as a rookie.

Just watch.

Add about 10 years on that. Howie is a lifer under Lurie. Even if Lurie were to catch Howie on a desk with his wife, I think Lurie would forgive him.  He would probably just tell Howie, "don't do that again, Howie, it's disrespectful."

We all know that won't happen

Note that I said "should" not "would" 😉

That's what I'm thinking as well.

I'd rather stick with the 2020 draft model than continue flipflopping.

We are gonna get some help today we’ll be picking better than 6th. Look out for those Bengals baby

I’ll disagree on that. I think jones just screwed the pooch in how he handled that situation. He wanted zeke done before dak and that was a mistake. I think they’ll franchise dak and bring him back. If dak plays this entire year the cowboys are already in the playoffs. There’s no way they would’ve lost the first game to us and Washington twice. They might trade up for a QB but i still think they bring back dak next year so it’s likely that QB sits until Dak leaves at the end of the year.

and them not paying him I think it’s more of a reflection of how badly dallas botched that situation. I also think it’s Dak’s agent knows he can make way more money playing it out the way they did if he would’ve stayed healthy. Frankly he still gonna make a lot of money because I think he gets franchised at the end of this year and if he plays great next year then they have to either try to get a contract done with him or he’s going to get the free agency and he’s likely going to make as much if not more than cousins which reality with the two franchise tags and then contract in free agency it’s going to be more than what Dallas offered him in terms of guaranteed money

I'm over the Aaron Rodgers insurance commercials.

The Eagles need to hire George Costanza as a consultant and have him tell Howie to do the opposite of every instinct he has. If his original instinct is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.

Howie could get a "promotion by demotion". Gets a business opps promotion, but loses personnel control.

That's probably the best hope. I have nothing against Howie except his repeatedly demonstrated incapacity to judge football talent.
