It's weird, howie survived the dream team debacle, then survived the basement Kelly sent him to and now the Dumpster Fire that has been this season and Reports come out that Howie's job is safe.

Pederson and Wentz have been crap this year but if I'm looking for biggest culprits and getting rid of problems Howie is at the top of my list.

I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't understand why he still has a job.

He has looked good most of the year outside of a 3 game stretch of buffalo, NE and atlanta. If the chargers had better coaching that team is likely 9-10 wins. They should’ve beaten Carolina. Also they were up big at tampa and their coaching staff blew that one. And the first Broncos game they were up like 17 in the fourth and Lynn kept making dumb decisions. Easily could be 9-7 or 10-6

It really shouldn’t be that much of a surprise when you think about it. He was loyal to a fault with Andy. You could see the decline of the Eagles dating back to 2010 after they lost to Minnesota. They really never look the same after that miracle at the Meadowlands 2. The 2011 team should’ve been the end of the road but i think Andy got another year for the success he had here even though everyone knew the last 4 games of that season were complete fools gold

I know Carolina is not good this year but if they get a legitimate quarterback and Christian McCaffrey comes back healthy next year that team is poised to compete in that division. I’m not sure if they can beat the Buccaneers next year if Brady comes back (and assume brees retires) but i could see them being a wild card team if they manage to get a good QB.

That whole division needs new QBs pretty soon.  That will be the great equalizer.  Who can get their future QB to be the present QB the soonest?   Brees and Brady are going to run out of steam literally any time now.  The Falcons need to move on from Matt Ryan, too.  The Falcons should've gone younger by now.
