I always look at the NFL in a three-year window. We’re about to embark on the third Super Bowl since that one. So in the three-year window of time the Eagles have been 9-7, 9-7 and 5-10-1/4-11-1. And really the two 9-7 seasons they were fortunate Kirk cousins stinks and the division was awful to make the playoffs

In Mike Vick's first year as a starter, his ratio of passing yards to rushing yards was 3.8.  As a rookie, Vince Young was 4.0.  Cam Newton was 5.7.  Three of the most run heavy raw passers in recent history.

Jalen Hurts is at 3.1.

Just in case anyone thought his passing, his usage, and his future projection are anything other than a gimmick...

I hate rooting to lose but i do like Alex smith. He’s a feel good story after everything he went through. Plus it would make me look smarter as i thought if he could return to form Washington would win the division
