Also Michael Bennett was a monster rushing from the interior in 2018. Graham and even Curry has had success when they bump inside and get matches up 1on1 with a slower guard.

Responsibility without accountability.  Sounds like someone else in the organization as well.  Must be nice!

And if Carson doesn't get back to doing what Carson does in the next few weeks? What then Doug?

Hypothetically... Doug gets let go at the end of the year... Judging on whos out there now... who do you like?

Does Eric Beinemy take the job since him and doug are buddies?

Dabo? Lincoln Riley?

Why the hell would Dabo leave Clemson for this?!

If Doug gets let go then I'd like Lurie to clean house and get rid of Howie. Do a hard reset on the franchise

Wentz has been coddled his whole career.  Perhaps his whole life.  Obviously got his widdle feelings hurt by the tough coaching.  Now he's got his boy Press Taylor "coaching" him, and look at the result.  But that's ok because at least Press doesn't get on him!

If that was the case then he wouldn't have been as great as he was in 2017. Your hatred is showing over your logic

The interception in the end zone was both JJAW and Wentz, JJAW ran a terrible route, didn't sell the move at all, rounded his cut and never was open.

Wentz should have seen that, either checked down or thrown it away.

Wentz decision could have roots in practicing against our inept secondary.

To me it really should be Howie first then Doug. Doug should be given more time but Howie... He's got to take the bulk of the blame for this roster.

I don’t know why people just assume we will beat the browns or bengals or niners. We lost to the awful redskins week one. Frankly i think the bengals are better team than the redskins. Better QB and offensive weapons. Their line isn’t great but it’s not like our DL has looked good all year. Their Defense is not great but ours looked awful yesterday and when the game was on the line with Washington we couldn’t get off the field on third down. Burrow imo might be the best QB they have faced so far this year. The bengals easily could be 1-1 if not for their pudgy kicker missing a chip shot field goal against the chargers

The eagles are healthier than they were in week 1. Doug teams always bounce back.

What hatred?  Why is it "hatred" to tell the truth about this dude?  There have been many reports that he was unhappy with the tough coaching of Flip and vetoed bringing him back when he was available, and that he likes Press because he acts like a friend instead of a coach.

I actually think the problem is you can’t just have pass rush from the inside anymore. Teams are moving the pocket to get their quarterbacks on the roll outs to avoid that pressure or miss direction or getting the quarterback outside of the pocket to make easier throws to neutralize your interior pass rush. You have to have good pass rush from your defensive end along with up the middle. The problem is Brandon Graham is a solid pass rusher at this stage of his career from ens and sweat is a nice back up player. But they’re missing another starter and they don’t have a premium pass rushing defensive end. I feel like teams have figured out how to neutralize the Eagles pass rush from the interior. So you have to have better pass rush on the outside close out or keep the Qb in the pocket.

They bounced back in week 2? Again the bengals aren’t the redskins on offense. They have legitimate playmakers in boyd, mixon, green and burrow is a better QB than Haskins. Their oline isn’t very good but if the eagles pass rush plays like they have the last 6 quarters he’ll have time and they have weapons who can hurt the eagles. Add on the eagles have been outscored 57-19 in the last 6 quarters. And if not for a ST strip sack it’s even worse. That is not a gimme game especially not with how this team is currently playing.

Feelings hurt while also being the 2017 clear choice MVP before he was injured?

Sure:rolleyes:

Why did he veto bringing back Flip since Flip made him the probable MVP that year?  It's a simple question to answer for someone who isn't a Carson Wentz apologist.

Doug has at least a 5 year leash after winning super bowl he isn’t going to be fired.  Howie needs to not having to do with our draft.  If Carson doesn’t turn his game around we draft Lawrence or Fields. This team will win 4 games and two are a Barkleyless Giants.

Cause we are clearly tanking for Lawrence and he wants to coach Lawrence his entire career. Duh lol

Is that just some rumor or did someone from the FO say it?

Sorry I don’t buy the argument that Wentz needs coached harder

To me it just seems like the offense isn’t working like it used to.  Too many of our plays are sniffed out; there was one drive where the Eagles had some guys open, but other than that, everything seems so much harder

just compare the level of difficulty of Goffs passes vs Wentz’.  I would say the majority of Goffs throws were wide open with only a few where he had to fit it into a tight window, but the opposite was true for Wentz

Im just wondering if this is starting to get to Wentz where’s he’s trying to be too precise and it’s getting to him

It's been reported in the media.  Of course no one from the FO would ever say it.

The 49ers did so constantly last year. Both the Chiefs and Titans did so too from what I recall.

Didn’t Grady Jackson pretty much destroy us a year or two ago?

Just saying caplan/mosher multiple times said he and wentz butted heads and wentz didn’t prefer his coaching style As he didn’t believe there was an issue with his mechanics that deflilippo tried to ingrain in him as second nature. I want to say berman in a podcast when the story came up about deflilippo being available and back possibly and hinted at some of the same things caplan/mosher did.

The offense "isn't working" because Carson Wentz is misfiring left and right.  He's had plenty of open guys and he's just missing them.

They lose to the Bengals then some coaches might lose their jobs.

Not to mention everyone get ready because it might be a long, embarrassing year that ends with a top 5 pick.
