I am glad that Howie decided to draw the line on toxic sentimental contracts with Jenkins.  Imagine if we extended him for 2 years for $8m per like he and many wanted.

So rather than a year too early, it looks like we were right on time with Jenkins.

If you re-watch enough from last year, a year too late is also an option in this multiple choice question.

Sure, but Jenkins was the most outspoken.

I think Chris Long was right there with him on that one.

I'm not eating crow yet, They obviously changed the game plan and got the ball out of Wentz hands faster. Did you notice any deep balls yesterday?

a couple seemed to be covered well and Wentz had a beautiful pocket to stand in and go through progressions.

We'll see, outside of Donald I don't think the Rams dline is that special.

I just flipped it on to see him trailing by several steps. Yikes.

Just whiffed on a tackle.

so still think its his politics?

Still doesn’t take away the fact half the game was played without the starting LT, LG, RG, and >100% RT

Yeah he really showed them......

(As Peters squeezes them more money for going to LT)

Agreed completely on that one.

Damn. Was hoping we'd see a 4th straight Saints penalty lol

Don’t be a dope. This year is not last year.

not particularly because Brockers isnt a pass rusher but hes big and superhuman strong and should command doubles to try to move him. Yet, teams have to triple Donald. And then with those two, it makes a speedster like Floyd tough to handle.  Most teams cant even stop Donald with consistent triple teams.

And... we had no problem with our OL in shambles. Luckily, we have Stoutland.

In reference to Jenkins, that doesnt matter. Theres no difference.

Some people didnt want to see that. If we are being honest, its probably because of his politics.

Well, 2020 isn't off to a good start but this wouldn't be the first time.  I seem to remember ALMOST everybody calling Sanders a bust last year and throwing the season in the toilet. Instead, they came back to win the division and were probably a Clowney cheap shot from moving on.

Look, Wentz feels the pressure and Doug feels the pressure.  I know the Philly thing is call them all bums and write them off.  I'm just not that guy.  We saw what they could be in the 1st qt of the Washington game.  I believe the Eagles get right against the Bengals and a depleted 49ers.  The Eagles get back to 500 and then we see what happens.  Remember, injuries actually happen to other teams as well and it is a long season.  I bleed green and am not going anywhere.

Well I remember the posts and you admitted to skimming past them, but yeah, you’re probably right.

I’ve clearly struck a nerve with you. If my comment doesn’t reflect your views move on. But it was plain as day that Jenkins’ activism turned people off in here.

Why do coaches have to wear masks but not players? It makes zero sense.

Just like no fans allowed in the stands.

People were allowed to gather in droves on Saturday in Philly to protest some event that never ended up even occurring(and physically assaulting and damaging property) but fans can't go watch a football game with masks in a massive outdoor venue at limited capacity.

None of it makes sense. None of it has made sense for a long time. No one can or will explain the logic behind any of it. Because they can't.

Las Vegas had better hold onto this lead the way Carr is pissing away all of their timeouts

Because if one politician makes a broad sweeping rule hes a dictator. Then,  tons of people don't want to listen..

But if left up to individual localities and even individual businesses,  well, a lot of people making the rules for them just aren't that smart and end up making dumb rules that contradict other rules.

Calling Sanders a bust last year was just stupid.  While there are plenty of rookie RBs who hit the ground running, plenty of future studs take 8-16 weeks to figure out how to hit the hole decisively.  It's obvious when that's what is slowing down a rookie RB and just isn't a concern until week 1 year 2.  We saw it with Mccoy and saw the same issue with Sanders.

Last season belonged in the toilet.

Wentz and Doug are not bums and it would be a mistake to write them off; I agree there.

I wonder how it is sitting at a game in Las Vegas next to a gigantic torch flame.

I’m not quitting the team but they really need to stop with these slow starts and late season heroics. It’s tiring and unsustainable. It seems like the only card Doug and team know how to play is the underdog.

I don't agree the Eagles were a Wentz cheap shot from moving on. I think that's a major projection. If the Eagles were winning in the 4th quarter and Wentz was playing great and he got hurt, left the game, and the Eagles fell apart, I'd agree. He left in the first quarter, the offense was doing jack crap, and Seattle already beat the Eagles earlier in the season. Seattle is just a better team than us. They own us and always find a way to beat us.

The Eagles were not good last season, and that fluky December run has made people overlook that.

Meh, they had a 41 year old QB with a torn hamstring for almost the whole game and only lost by 8. It’s not that much of a projection they could win that game.

The Saints have no idea how to defend Darren Waller.
