Hmmm Jenkins can defend TEs. Woulda been great to have someone like that. Oh wait...

Meh, they had a 41 year old QB with a torn hamstring for almost the whole game and only lost by 8. It’s not that much of a projection they could win that game.

"Could" is a lot different than basically declaring that if Wentz stays healthy we win, but also if Wentz stays healthy maybe Seattle ups their game to respond. It doesn't necessarily play out the same way on Seattle's end. If the game was closer or the Eagles had the lead, maybe Seattle plays with more urgency and Wilson does more of his magic.

I don't think there's any denying Seattle was just a better team.

Most don't.

Too big and too fast.

They should put Lattimore on him. Make the rookie WRs beat them.

If we lose to the Bengals, are we officially the worst team in the league?

We'd have to be right?

Or are the Jets still vying for that crown even if we lose?

Waller already threw Lattimore onto the turf!

Sure, Seattle was a better team. But it’s pretty silly to suggest Seattle was comfortable winning a playoff game by one score and didn’t give it their all, especially since McCown did end up getting close to scoring towards the end of the game. Last years Wentz would have given them a better chance, so it’s not some crazy projection to think they win.

Beating Seattle is a projection.  A huge one.  They've never beaten Russel Wilson.  Wentz has never won a playoff game.  The game started off in that direction.

Holy crap that was a nice TD run

Wow.  Gruden has these Raiders playing well.

I’d say Eagles. Jets at least played two decent teams in Bills and 49ers

Trading a rookie draft pick was an interesting message to send to the team, maybe it worked.

Jets played the 49ers practice squad.

Saints look gassed on defense.

49ers PS still likely beat WTF

I remember the good old days when the solution to this team's problems was Cordy Glenn.

We won't.  Although we did lose to the Dolphins last year, so who knows?

From a college style rankings system, we'd be the "worst team in the league" through 3 weeks if we lost to the lowly Bengals.

But I do think we'd crush the Jets head to head.

MNF is apparently cursed to having underwhelming, awkward announcing crews until the end of time. Levy sounds like he’s half-watching while looking at his phone. Can’t wait to hear those somber Mahomes/Jackson highlight reel calls next week.

I think Gase would give them the edge but we’d be comparing turds here.

Is Thomas up for a new contract? Looks like Saints are missing him

Watching other teams reminds me of just how lousy our pass-catchers are.  Wentz may be problem #1, but the guys on the receiving end here are still garbage until proven otherwise.

The consensus amongst everyone outside of Philly is that the Eagles have "replacement level targets" in the passing game.  And, yes, that's accounting for the big picture with everyone catching passes.

I’ve always thought that is the spot — down 14 and score a TD — where you go for two.

If you make it you put serious pressure on the opponent; if you miss you can still go for two again to tie it.  Kicking the extra points you need to score three times to win.  Make that first 2-point conversion and you can win with 2 scores.

Josh Jacobs does not look fun to tackle.

i haven't seen coach payton with his mask on once , it's down on his neck everytime i've seen him.
