Hey man, I kicked the "ConCast" habit years ago, we're on two different platforms folks.

When the Eagles are playing for the NFC Championship this year, I want you to remember The End of September and how YOU threw in the towel after a couple of shots to the jaw in the FIRST ROUND.

This is PHILLY . Train keeps a Rollin

Look at some of the best throws in his career, his feet are a little off

this is overblown.  The quick screen to DJ?  Sure, his form is sloppy as he’s trying to rush the play.

But this "mechanics” issue is overblown IMO.  Who wants to criticize Mahomes’ mechanics?  He literally has thrown no look passes

How often does Mahomes miss routine passes?

I'm not diving into another 12 personnel debate.  It doesn't take advantage of the lousy officiating evolution.  I didn't like it for the Eagles when they took their first steps in this direction, and they've done nothing but regress since going more and more 12 personnel heavy.

You like it, that's fine.  Other teams use it as a situational package, precious few as a >50% base offense.  You want to build the offense around the mismatches Zach Ertz can give you blocking in the running game, good for you.

I saw some crazy stat that the Eagles use 12 personnel over 60% of the time so far this year.  No other team is higher than ~ 30%.

We're definitely an outlier re: 12 personnel and the overall results are not encouraging.

When you are good enough to throw with bad mechanics on a consistent basis like Mahomes does, no one questions it.  When you are missing easy, routine throws with a clear pocket, and have bad mechanics while doing so, it is going to be questioned.  Mahomes has much more arm strength than Carson and better vision which is usually why he can still get the passes in.

Mahomes may be the best player in the NFL and a generational talent, but he's still not a replicable blueprint for the QB position.  Additionally, he's getting a lot more comfortable slinging it from the pocket.  Even Mahomes can't do that forever.

Look at Russell Wilson.  He used to run around like it was recess ball.  He's having his career signature, MVP year now.  Those beautiful deep balls are coming from the pocket.  Less frenetics, more pure passing.

Just wait until the wheels fall off that circus in Baltimore.

This is why the Eagles shouldn't just "adjust to Wentz' strengths."  When beautiful pure pocket passing can't BE A STRENGTH, you need to look for a new QB.  When you give up and acknowledge that someone is a temporary player, then by all means, adapt to what they do best.  Until then, make them better.

I went a little overboard around here during the game the other day,  none of it was personal, my emotions got the best of me...hopefully no one took it personal.  Moving on...:Eagle_smiley:

I'd say 80% of the fan base reacted the same way.

It’s just a message board. No need to apologize to us. You might owe your liver one however...

Never, he’s perfect, he’s never off by a few inches or anything

It’s amazing how people are piling on to Wentz in what is his worst two game stretch and pretending he doesn’t have years of film that illustrates that he’s a top level QB

Even the immortal Mahomes misses passes.  I can’t wait until his next bad game so we can discuss his form

Oh that's amazing. You make that in Photoshop? Lol it has no source.

Let me guess you've got some sort of "high speed internet" from a certain sponsor.

OH YOU'RE AN EVEN BIGGER a**. The kid died June 30th.  In case you can't follow , I'm referring to kids INFECTED AFTER the Nation returned to school this fall you moron.

You have to admit it's funny that people who have nothing but an emotional investment in the Eagles have the answers on how th fix the problems but the people who's jobs depend on success can't figure it out.

Not a knock on any fans, i do the same thing too.

Yup. 12 would be more effective if Ertz could run block but he doesn't.

Why is high speed internet in quotes?

SO FOLLOW Along Epidemiologists  AT HOME.

Italy Reopens June 3rd ...... You've got people trying to SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN THROUGH HALLOWEEN for people who had complications June 30th. And the fact that somebody took the time to cite a KID who GOT SICK probably at home WHILE He was off, just proves you're nothing but what you've always been.

We're referring to infections AFTER the nation's kids went back to school FALL 2020.

If this were not a "_______" year , the Avian Bird Flu of 2020 would have ended in July for the most part just like it did in Italy.

I think we saw the success in the run game that 12 personnel can have - even with a backup heavy OL...its the best to attack the single high safety looks so common today.

HOWEVER...i feel like DP is dropping the ball on using play action off it. that would help Wentz.

but Wentz seems like he is rushing his throws and short-arming them. relax and follow through, kid.

No source? It is from Penn State News published on 22 September. Reading is fundamental.

I'd say it's perfectly reasonable to criticize Wentz for his play in the last two games, while still thinking it would be foolish to move on from him. You seem to take any slight of his play as a directive to put in Hurts or someone else.

Go on. Have your Fun.

Fine Gruden and Payton today. See if we care.

Yes and it's about a KID who died In JUNE....... We're referring to this HUGE OUTBREAK that's going to happen when the kids got back to class THIS FALL.

That's why you tried to cancel the entire winter and fought tooth and nail to "NOT PLAY BALL " Before Election day ..... RIGHT?

You can LIE all you want.  The only reason the Avian Bird Flu has Legs is for the exact reason most people suspect.

Watch it or I will cancel next summer.

You can't be this stupid.

Saying that 12 personnel is the reason the offense is bad is lazy and incorrect.

- Baltimore: Top 3 Offense. They run a ton of 21/12 personnel. They're often less effective with 3 WRs.
- NE: They're running 21/13/12 personnel. Power-football team.
- SF: 21 personnel team. Top 5 offense last year. Injuries have gutted their team, but otherwise it works.

Yes you can have a great offense with 11 personnel as your base (KC, LAR, HOU, DAL). You can also do it with other formations. When we won the SB, we used a lot of 13 personnel (Ertz, Burton, Celek). Play your good players.

---

The problem with the offense is the QB and play-calling. Wentz is missing layups and not delivering splash plays, while our offense has only shown creativity when using Jalen Hurts.

It's true.....but.........it was a College age student, living off campus, that died of Covid in June when there was no classes........

Anyone who has a couple brain cells to rub together would realize that his stipulations are stupid. Don't defend idiocy like that.

Hmm has Waller past Ertz. Not so sure if he has yet. Maybe Waller is as good as Goebert
