I thought NRC was supposed to be a good signing. I know he was cheap, but I wish the eagles would have past.

Through 2 games, Nickell Robey-Coleman has given up:
- 9 catches on 9 targets
- 102 yards, 8 first downs, 1 TD
- 150.9 passer rating

OUCH

I dunno about the turnovers, Jim.

Zach Ertz as the core of the 12 personnel is actually a big problem.

As I said, he gets blanketed by a CB, especially at this point in his career.  He'll use his long frame to get his share of catches at a 10.0 ypc clip to move the sticks, but he's going to be blanketed.  And he's not going to block enough or well enough to secure any mismatches in the running game.  We saw it last year.  We are seeing it this year.

It's a tipping point, which I argued all last year.  Against our 11 personnel, you really can't have 1 LB on the field and put a CB on Ertz all day long.  At that point, you really can run all over them.  But 12 personnel with Ertz...2 LBs or 3?  You go 2 LB's and drape a CB over Ertz all. day.  long.  And he won't make you pay for it on the ground.

And then Wentz (this is the 2019 offense) telegraphs it to Ertz anyway for 8-10 yards per catch in tight coverage underneath against a CB.

It's a bad scheme...even with Ertz/Goedert.

We averaged 4.8 YPC against the Rams. That's very good. The Rams countered 12 personnel with nickle and we gashed them.

If the QB doesn't play poorly, we put up 27+. So it's not the scheme.

Woohoo.... More #Safespace.  At this rate by November you'll have a fully formed Cocoon.

Ridiculous was a poor choice of words. Just surprised the fine is that hefty.

I wonder if that sum is for publicity purposes. Will we ever know what they actually pay?

Like you said, it's a metric made to fit a narrative.

If heart disease is a product of bad health choices, then so are deaths due to COVID.  Most COVID deaths come in patients with severe medical co-morbidities...heart disease, smokers, obesity.  So if we can dismiss heart disease morbidity and mortality as only affecting those who have made bad choices, then should we do the same for COVID deaths?

The real tragedy about COVID is that, like all calamities, it has been politicized.  It's bad, deadly, worse than the flu, yes, yes, and yes...it has also been criminally weaponized by the left and criminally downplayed by the right...and the subsequent crossfire has cause deaths due to fear, deaths due to covid, and economic devastation.

Blaming underlying conditions for covid deaths is an easy way to justify covid deaths as insignificant

Heart disease is the result of a lifetime of bad health choices covid a highly contagious virus but different no?

While those in poor health are at higher risk of contracting and developing complications due to covid the same can be said for any disease that doesn't discount the abnormal amount of deaths minimize or justify people's inaction in stopping the spread of the virus.

it's been politicized by both sides yes and thats sad and  yes it's more sad that more people choose to take medical advice from politicians and political media heads than they do from science based medical opinion.

Just wear a mask. Strong scientific evidence has shown that properly wearing a mask is 95% effective at keeping coronavirus out. When one washes hands and social distances the chances of one contracting covid decrease exponentially.

Just wear a mask, downplaying the virus helps no one. Downplaying a deadly virus doesn't help it go away doesn't help people not contract it or die all it does is lax people into a false sense of security and continue the spread of disease.

Countries like New Zealand didn't go weeks without any cases by downplaying the virus and saying only already sick people were dying politicizing it or justifying deaths as a product of underlying conditions.

They took swift steps mandated masks social distancing and got the virus under control.

Meanwhile in the US americans keep trying to find reasons to not do something as simple as wear a mask while people die.

Just wear a mask stop justifying and minimizing death.

No, You dunce.  You said Kobe was a "Philadelphia hero", because Jason Kelce wore his jersey at practice on ESPN's appointed "Black Mamba Day".   I corrected you, because he was not looked upon as a "hero" in Philly.  LOL.  Nice try though.

Non heroes don't normally get murals so whose the dunce now?

At least he's realizing he's losing the locker room. Though subsequently calling them out for a lack of heart is very Chip Kelly-esque.

Honestly other than Doug, If I was Lurie I would clean house. Howie, Wentz, Schwartz, all gotta go.

This is some serious projection

Well it's a good thing you're not Lurie.

I hope someone has the full quote. That reeks like he purposely did it for twitter clicks. Also didn't see anyone else tweet anything similar which leads me to believe its out of context.

Not a good thing for the Eagles, as is evident through our drafts, our QBs regression, and consistent terrible defensive performances.

It would only be projection if I'm a football coach. If you think I'm reading too far into things, that's fine, but it's not how projection works.

You’re dumb arse didn’t even know about the mural.  So that would be you.

Again, if you're fixated on calling people dumb, maybe try to learn the difference between you're and your.

Good job bud.  Probably shouldn’t post while driving.

That's the most alarming thing you've ever said about anything. Seriously though, it's really dangerous. Stop doing that.

Been saying this.  Way overrated.  Bench and play strap.  Would have kept Jones over this midget.

I don't live in Philly why would I know about or care about a mural.

Here in kansas we didn't have any kobe murals as far as I know none of my family or friends in utah mentioned a mural in utah, not did any of my friends mention a mural in northern California.

Having a mural of him in Philly and one of its most most popular athletes in kelce wearing a kobe highschool jersey would suggest that more than a few people in Philly consider kobe a figure they look up to respect ect... I used the word hero, you disagree with my using of that word to describe how Philly feels which is semantics other than the word hero I used evidence would suggest there are a substantial amount of people in Philly that care about kobe, at least compared to other cities/ states that have no connection to kobe. No?

Though I'm not sure why I'm asking you'll disagree just for the sake of disagreeing cuz you're fun like that😒

It's what I do for fun when I'm done debating Wentz's mechanical failures.

100% false

Fair enough

It's literally facts lol.

Maybe someone murdered you cuz you weren't wearing a mask😉

But your above statement is hyperbole, there is no evidence to suggest that doctors are marking murder victims who had covid as covid deaths.

There is substantial scientific evidence though that suggests wearing a mask is an effective way to reduce the spread of corona virus

How does this make sense at all? I mean they still gave up 16 points after but this is terrible.   I swear if the Eagle wanted to raise money they should auction off an opportunity to yell at the coaches in a post-game press conference.

2 hours ago, What The F said:

Sure it does.  5 degrees off at 15 yards puts the ball off target by 2.5ft to either side, or 5ft to 1 side.   That obviously gets wider at further distance.  Id say 5 degrees doesn't matter if the pass is under about 15 feet.

I was told there’d be no geometry on the new boards!!

On a fresh note...If the Eagles actually secure a top 10 pick (I don't think they will), I would trade back into the teens targeting Jaylen Waddle.  And if they turn things around and finish where I expect, Waddle will be there for their own pick.

May sound like speed overkill, but it's not.  Goodwin is already dead to me and should be to you too.  Hightower/Watkins are 5th and 6th round total fliers who barely have any right to factor into the picture.  JJAW, Desean, and Ward do not factor in here.

So we have ONE WIDE RECEIVER...a still completely unproven rookie...Reagor, who actually figures to be a part of things moving forward.

Waddle has enough of a resume and tape to be a rock-solid selection in the middle of round 1 after a tough 2020 to scout.

Then allocate the ENTIRE rest of the draft to the best OL or edge rusher available.
