He’s a head coach who called the play and happens to be a former quarterback.  Seems like a solid source to me.

He was a former quarterback even when he was playing.

Hightower needs to watch this.

Another blow save by the bullpen.

As a former QB he was a career benchwarmer who never had the arm to complete a pass like that at any level.  I have more confidence in Wentz to start playing well than I do in Pederson to start coaching well at this moment.

This argument for average/below average players being awesome coaches is weak.  If anything, I'd argue the opposite because if guys like Doug don't study, memorize, and master the playbook, he's out of the league as a player.  For some reason the first HOF freak of nature head coach that comes to mind is Mike Singletary.  🤣   That ended well.

As long as Seumalo will be 100% for next year, I don’t really care if he or anyone else returns this year.

2020 has brought extreme pain to Philadelphia sports.  We’ve had a lot of pain throughout our history, but 2020 ranks close to the top.

The real kicker is that we’ve seen far worse teams...but 2020 brought with it the realization that 3/4 of the teams in the city, which entered the year with high expectations, are not built to compete.

Seasons that bring that realization are worse than being dead last.  We endured that for 3/4.

Exactly. Also could of been a factor in Washington game. Having reliable running game after 17 point lead could be the difference between us being 0-2 and 1-1.

It feels like the Eagles could have had McCaffery and Kamara in the backfield against the Foreskins and they still would have abandoned the run.  Doug still would have dialed up 7 step drops and deep bombs while Del Rio and Rivera laughed on the sidelines.  Their pass rush was incredible.  Delayed blitzes, perfect gap assignments, confusing all of the young guys.

I guess my main point is that there was zero adjustment that entire game.  Last week was an entire new set of problems.  This team makes me feel like I'm playing golf.

Perfect!  I hope there are more stud receivers we missed out on this year.  I just saw somewhere that there are a bunch of rookie WRs drafted in 2020 that have more production than JJAW for his career.  It's week 3.   And Covid.

😂😂😂

And Herbig

Has anyone watched the all 22?  Herbig was the worst player in the NFL against the Foreskins apparently (and rightfully so against those athletic freaks), but he was graded as the #1 guard by PFF this past week. That’s quite the difference.

He was bad against the Foreskins. Kerrigan delayed a blitz around him like he was the Native American from Creepshow 2 before he came to life.

I loved Pittman coming out this year. His game against Utah was incredible and I believe USC was down to their third string QB in Fink after Slovis got hurt. I don’t think Pittman was a realistic pick for them at 34 and I’m fine with Reagor, but I’d expect Pittman to turn into a nice player.

Makes a difference when Lane is right next to you.

And then Pryor and Opeta

I liked Pittman over Reagor. Still do.

Indubitably.

Watching the game right now. (Was away on Sunday and listened to it via Reese) So far in the first half it's the D that really sucks. Missed call on running into the kicker that would have extended our drive, Goedert has to catch a ball that hits him in both hands i don't care how high it is. JJaw needs benched and never to return again. He does not have "it". Going for a run now. I'll watch the 2nd half when I get back.

The difference was freakish, Herbig looked like they'd grabbed a fat guy from the parking lot and suited him up against Washington but he did look good against the Rams, I hope all the other areas of the team have a similar freakish reversal of performance in the coming weeks.

Yeah, Pittman was a really nice prospect.  I would have loved him with the Hurts pick but the Colts snagged him before anyone thought he would go.

The Flyers look really promising.  They are at a pivotal spot though.  They have some important and big decisions to make with some aging veterans who have been here for a while.
