Cox looks toast.

Probably trade him for a 3rd or 4th depending on his cap.

He is our biggest number and not doing squat.

They made an interesting point on the Eagle Eye podcast. They said that at times Cox just folded like he had nothing. There was no fight or determination. It wasn't like he was giving up or not trying, he just had nothing.

Realistically speaking, what could we get for Cox?  Can we fleece someone for a 3rd?

I think we could potentially get a little more.

Maybe if he shows a little of his old self before the trade deadline.  He hasn't had much juice these last couple years.

Some QBs never clean it up

Ideally he would throw like a robot, 100% perfect footwork and throwing motion.  But as I’ve said, some of his best throws ever have been unorthodox.

As much as some of the armchair QBs in here would believe, I don’t think there’s a direct correlation where he magically forgets his mechanics and has bad games.

So throughout the history of sports you don't think a QB reverting back to bad mechanics has no correlation to when they have a bad game?

Why do you think players try to hit QBs and get into their head?

To impact their mechanics and mentality.

There is a HUGE correlation there.

I bet his mechanics were 100x more consistent when he was dealing last year than what he's doing this year. (I put this as much on Doug as Carson)

You're trying to make it like every throw he completes has had bad mechanics since he got here, which is patently as absurd as your "no correlation" take.

Raiders wouldn't let Drew Brees get set in pocket making his mechanics a bit off and beat the Saints.

It just insane you want to say the opposite is true with Wentz.

Clearly, you're the one being emotional here as your emotions are defying facts and common sense.

kicking our QB when he’s down, classy.

Ill be sure to look for you when he inevitably bounces back

Get the fight waiver ready, Beast!

Mike wants to fight you for kicking the QB of a team you don't cheer for while he's down!

Super unemotional posting today.

🤣

When I said this last year I was bashed. Man between this and the Carson Wentz call i should change my name to Nostradamus

Cox was dinged up last year.

I'm still holding out hope his conditioning is just crap due to no normal preseason and such.

I mean, we held Donald to one tackle Sunday. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm hoping it's his conditioning due to no regular off season but it's only a hope.

If JJAW can't use the opportunities against the Bengals, he never will.  A prime opportunity to catch a ball.  Low expectations right?  At least Burnett gets a chance to show up too?

Oh Ok....When’s he going to the IR for Lung replacement?

If JJAW can’t do anything by now he can’t do anything period

Part of me is fine seeing JJAW get a ton of reps on Sunday against a below-average Bengals secondary. We need to see if JJAW can do anything. If he can't produce a little with Reagor out, you can cut him next off-season. That information is valuable.

Um, off season ?  If he can’t produce with Reagor out against the Bengals, Id cut him on Monday.  He’s the guy who needs to go if when you add more than one WR.

I'll predict the stat line.

65% of the snaps.

3 Targets

1 Catch, 7 Yards

Where Alshon at?  We actually need him back now.  Hopefully we can pump and dump on him by the trade deadline along with some of the other fat and happy veterans on the team.

Don't be too generous... 😉

Ya know it’s funny how Alshon was the bad guy who was snitching then Wentz starts playing like Blake Bortles.....Just saying maybe Alshon wasn’t as crazy as we thought?

Who cares about stats. He'll grade out as one of their best WR's because he aligns right.

We only have 4 CB's. NRC gets you like Mack Hollins

I'd make the trade for Matt Collins.

Sounds like Alshon was right all along about Wentz.  Doesn’t excuse him airing out team dirty laundry to his side piece, but at least the message was actually true.  It’s pretty clear to everyone who isn’t a Wentz apologist that he’s been coddled and spoiled, and now we see the end result.

I predict JJAW will have two catches Sunday....for 21 yards. Wentz will hit him for the game winner and he'll drop it, prompting everyone to blame Wentz.

Uhh.  Try again.  He didn’t have to be a bish and go to the press.  Still the bad guy.

Of course not but your missing the point. Not saying Alshon was right for going to the press, I’m saying he may have been right about Wentz.
