Maybe Covid will save our season, by shutting it down so we don’t have to watch this crap.

Hah, good one DGunn. We'll be lucky if we see him again this season with the medical staff we have.

The hope at this point is that he can still have a career catching with only 9 fingers.

Nah.  If you notice, those are the guys that played "ok" on Sunday.  I doubt that's a coincidence.

Deandre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald were rested today too. It's not that uncommon with these "old" guys.

This makes more sense to me.

I'd trade a 5th for Westbrook.

It’s the last year of his contract though

I’d trade a 5 for Miller in a heart beat. He’d be a huge improvement over Ward in the slot.

He’d probably be at least a 4th that we already burned on Avery

You ding dongs might as well give up on the Trevor Lawrence thing.   It’s not gonna happen.

Don’t shatter their dreams.  It’ll be more fun when they get their souls crushed and start bishing that the Eagles should have traded 5-6 draft picks to get him.

So in other words, he has a hernia.

Yeah I mean, even if the Eagles somehow end up in that position (they won't) they aren't going QB. But this team will probably still manage somehow to win 5-7 games.

Who are we beating?

Bengals, Browns, Giants twice and possibly Washington. There's also a chance they could beat a banged up 49ers team with Nick Mullens at QB. All of those are still winnable games. Are they guaranteed wins? Nope. No such thing for this team. But they aren't playing teams that will finish 13-3 every week.

There's a 0% chance that if the Eagles had the 1st pick that they wouldn't draft Lawrence.  If there was a number less than 0, it would be that.

(Even if Wentz turns it around the trade value alone makes it a no-brainer....if they don't trade that 1st pick for about 3-4 1st round picks before the draft).

Really?  The guy played like crap in the college playoff last year.

If that is what you think that's fine. I don't agree. It's a moot point anyway because they aren't going to have the #1 pick or be in a position to draft Lawrence.

Cool Fields then just someone that can move and hit layups

Agreed.

One game?  lol.

He's the highest rated College QB in decades.  He could probably start for 20 NFL teams as we speak.

I don't think we will have the 1st pick either...so I agree, moot point.

If Wentz can’t win more than 4 games this year why would you want to stay the course?

We'll probably win half of those games.  So 3-13 looks about right.

No idea where you're getting the confidence that we'll win all those games.

Certainly not beating the Browns

Depends if any other teams finish worse than 3-13.

Two games — he wasn’t good against OSU either and they should have lost.

Hate to say it, but if you aren’t in the SEC Conference right now then those two games each year are the only true test for evaluation purposes.  I don’t care how he plays against Appalachian Children’s Polytechnic or St Peter Nunnery College — he has to deliver against actual competition.

He looked like a can’t miss as a freshman.  He didn’t look nearly as good last year.  We will see this season in his draft year

It reminds me of the Mariota band wagon.

I think you're giving Doug too much credit here honestly.  I don't think he has any clue what to do with this offense.

I agree, but if I let myself live in that space completely I won't even watch.
