Nope sir i don’t like it

OK if there is one phrase (and there are numerous) that I am sick of, it's the use of YAAASSSS.  Ugh, makes me cringe.

I don't understand the Carson stuff.  My contention is he is coached to what Doug wants him to be rather than what he is.  Classic mistake.  Eagles have no depth, little young talent, so either Howie can't draft or the staff doesn't develop Howie's excellent draft picks.  Trading Ertz is possible but I think keeping him, Cox, etc al is better talent than what the return would provide.  So we trade Ertz and pick a Sidney Jones?  We lose.  Trade Cox and get what?

But the GM needs to go. Then you can hope that we use the picks smartly.

Firing the GM isn't going to happen this season, or next.  It wouldn't happen ANYWHERE -- so it isn't going to happen here.

I agree it won't... But it should.

I don't think their mustache riding QB has the arm strength to throw it further than 15 yards.  Who the F said he was a "baller?"  It might have been somewhere else in TATE.  He's the opposite of a baller.

I said he was "a gamer" only to have his worst game as a pro.

I didn't know Chark was not going to be playing. He was off, had 3 horrendous drops for first downs, and looked much like watching Eagles last week.

Minchew had the same, or better, numbers as Murray last year but wasn't mentioned anywhere in ROY talks.

He might go the way of Fitzpatrick career where he's lights out or off for most his career.

He was lights out the first 2 games against better teams. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

Fair enough 😂  I just don't see enough arm strength to be able to make any tough throws.  He tried to push that one ball downfield last night, and it just floated before 3 defenders all closed in on it and ended up picking it off.  I watched a few games last year, and he makes good decisions for the most part.  But I just don't think he has the talent to even be a top 15-20 guy.

How exactly do you lean on someone who has 0 catches for 0 yards?

- Matt Pryor being more comfortable at RG than LG makes sense given his reps there last year.
- Nate Herbig started his career at Stanford at LG, before moving to RG his sophomore season.

With Pryor/Herbig, we should be able to run-block well. If we're down 10+ points and have to throw...then we're in trouble.

Really depends.

He's pretty good and mobile enough to move around to get windows to make up for his height.

I watched him play at WSU and he can get it down field if he can get his feet set.

Last night he rarely got time to do that, and indeed, doesn't have the arm strength of a Wentz to just arm sling the ball through tight windows.

Guy plays his guts out though, which is more than you can say for many QBs who were picked before him.

He'll be in the league for a long while.

Pretty wild how all of a sudden Cam Newton looks like an All-Pro with Belichick and a solid offensive line, huh?

I just saw his stats so far this year.  If he keeps it up and they win into the playoffs, easily a pro-bowler this year.

All signs point to a big ground attack Sunday.  I’m predicting 175 yards combined.  Or more.

I think he finishes top 5 in MVP voting

Meh.  He usually has good stats; the problem is they will have him running 10+ times per game, he will get beat up, and he will revert back to his usual self — a brooding, selfish and immature ‘me-first’ individual

Translation on Jeffery.  "We timed him and until he can run as fast as Herbig, he won’t be active.”

Two losing seasons is more productive than multiple mediocre seasons.  It's ok to root for the team.  But you need to look at things objectively, or at least allow the rest of us to do so.  They are trending in the wrong direction.  A win against Cincy or SF won't fix that.

Some may be looking at things objectively and others are not.

Why do you even watch if you want your team to lose? So stupid.

My call up guesses for the week

TY McGill

Deontay Burnett

I really wanted to go with Grayland Arnold, but injuries and thin positions took priority while you hope someone can step up on ST's in Fords absence.

He's going to keep running good routes.  That's a good WR in the Eagles eyes.  Don't need any targets or catches to have a good game.

Cam had 160 yards passing against the Dolphins and 230 in total offense.

1 TD and 1 INT on the season.

Wilson has 9 TD's.

Cam is nowhere near top 5 MVP and All Pro talk. 🤭

the more tape on how they are running their offense with him will slow down his #'s. the way every new player / coach combo starts out.

I don’t really care about that random backup TE we cut that was claimed whose loss everyone bemoaned.  But for the record, they officially could have kept him, started with Alshon on PUP, and then made a mid season roster decision with whom to release to bring back Alshon.

Thats just bad roster management.

If they get any slower he will be in JJAW territory.

His highest ranking, other than QB rushing stats, is 10th in yards. 30th in TDs, 12th in INTs, etc.

If the Raiders beat Pats on Sunday he's already out of any MVP talks, not that anyone but the 2 brain donors here have him in there anyways.

Guys that I’ll be watching closely this Sunday:

Wentz — I want to see him running; I think he’s not 100% physically

Ertz — his body language stinks IMO.  I want to see him leading out there

Scott — still not sold on him, but he’s clearly the #2 RB with Clement hardly playing

JJAW — Doug really says some strange things; let’s see what ‘lean on’ means
