I don’t really care about that random backup TE we cut that was claimed whose lose everyone bemoaned.  But for the record, they officially could have kept him, started with Alshon on PUP, and then made a mid season roster decision with whom to release to bring back Alshon.

Thats just bad roster management.

Yup and essentially have your Ertz replacement if things go sour, as they likely will the way this is all heading.

Guys that I’ll be watching closely this Sunday:

Wentz — I want to see him running; I think he’s not 100% physically

Ertz — his body language stinks IMO.  I want to see him leading out there

Scott — still not sold on him, but he’s clearly the #2 RB with Clement hardly playing

JJAW — Doug really says some strange things; let’s see what ‘lean on’ means

He literally means his new job is to go up and down the sidelines for tired players to lean on when they don't want to sit.

I think he meant this, just swap JJAW with his umbrella position coach

Maybe he's singing a rendition of the song Lean On Me? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cam had 160 yards passing against the Dolphins and 230 in total offense.

1 TD and 1 INT on the season.

Wilson has 9 TD's.

Cam is nowhere near top 5 MVP and All Pro talk. 🤭

He's being used perfectly for his skill set in NE.  They've completely simplified their offense, and they are gonna run Cam into the ground.  Unfortunately, I don't know if he'll be able to stay healthy at this stage in his career playing like that.

This would provide much more value than every time he steps onto the field.  I'm all for it.

All signs point to a big ground attack Sunday.  I’m predicting 175 yards combined.  Or more.

The first horrifying memory that popped into my head from this sentence was the Eagles playing the Jamarcus Russell led Raiders in 2009.  I believe the Raiders had the worst rush defense in the league at that time, and Westbrook had about 5 carries.  McNabb dropped back to pass 50 times.

Sure, but he had as many rush attempts as completions in game one against the Dolphins.

1 TD throwing thus far.

Just mind bottling how enamoured people are with the guy to be praising him as they are.

Funny, it's the same people crapping all over Wentz so I'm not sure they know what a QB is supposed to do or not. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I don't get the "we might have to lean on JJ" comment at all. He hasn't shown anything that would make anyone think he can be leaned on.

The Bengals were last in run defense in 2008 when we played them. Of course we threw the ball 61 times that day.

Just so everyone knows.  This quote from Doug...............is from Nov 2019.  Maybe he should have put rainbow jimmies on his ice cream.  Time to switch it up Doug.

More J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, less Mack Hollins in latest Eagles wide receiver shakeup | RSN

Asking Doug to switch it up is like asking g a squirrel to stop hiding nuts

Nope.  Cam Newton sucks and is a weirdo.  Wentz deserve a ton off criticism, especially if the rumors are true about him refusing to change and not being coachable.  No excuse for that.

Sure, but people saying Cam is All Pro and looks MVP worthy from those crapping on Wentz means their opinions are crap as they are Madden players.

Wentz deserves all the criticism he is getting, never said he doesn't.

Just pointing out the opinions of the emotional drunk and other idiot are absolutely bonkers is all.

I’m hoping he means lean on him, like a loan shark would to someone not paying up:

There's a lot of blame to be passed around, but this ultimately falls on Carson's shoulders.

He's been coddled and ego-stroked to the point where Doug & Howie have sheltered him from hard-coaching and accountability.

This team is the very definition of complacency and mediocrity. In order for us to get any better and move past the never-ending cycle of 8-8 and 9-7 seasons, I'm hoping that we tank if we can't beat the Bungholes this weekend, because if we can't beat them, we're guaranteed 0-6 and there's no digging ourselves out of that hole.
