Wentz is being given far too few advantages in scheme, and trying to make up for that by holding the ball way too long waiting for a big play to develop. I put a ton of this on the offensive brain trust. He can still make the reads and the throws. The problem is the defense knows what’s coming

He's 14-15 since his injury.  59 QBR.  (QBR is not QB rating).

Why not put Reagor on IR already?

Or maybe he’s still relying on his athleticism (which has gone down to below average NFL levels since his injury) vs playing "within the scheme”?

Why do I have little doubt if (for whatever reason) a "true pocket passer” was placed in this same exact scheme, that he would have success?  Nick Foles has literally done it twice already.

I think Wentz still has plenty of time to turn it around and I hope he does soon.  But it’s time he’s held accountable vs everyone or anything else.

Hey we waited for 8 or 10 weeks last year before we Put Djax on IR, what in the world makes you think they would IR Reagor this early?

So what?  No, I’m actually serious — so what?  The team has never been hindered by Wentz’s on-field performance prior to these two games.

2018 he got injured, and the Eagles made the playoffs, beat CHI and might have gone back to the NFCCG if not for Jeffery dropping a pass into Lattimore’s hands.  We can blame Wentz for being injured if you like, but our season didn’t suffer because of him.

2019 The Eagles won the division and hosted a playoff game against SEA.  Wentz took a cheap shot, had to leave the game, and the Eagles were done because McCown was not Nick Foles.  Again, blame him for getting injured if you like — but the team would never have made the playoffs without Wentz.

No you’re suggesting tanking like a loser. The team is struggling right now because they suck at drafting. Not because they aren’t picking high enough.

No, what they really suck at is player development, this is what knuckle-dragging fans like yourself are unable to comprehend because blaming the draft is a lazy and cheap out.

It's not just us who gets hurt.

Yeah, you never know with us, but the obvious difference this year is that Reagor and anyone else can return from IR after 3 games.

???

2018 - Wentz was 5-6 before Foles took over.    That team was just about dead in the water before Foles took over.  Had a 15% chance to make the playoffs at the time and you somehow think that team made the playoffs because of Wentz?

2019 - Wentz had a remarkable turn around and I agree, he played very well through the home stretch to get them into the playoffs.  It's unfortunate he was hurt at the beginning of the playoff game.

What does that have to do with him being 14-15 since his injury?  The fact that he's been a sub .500 QB since his injury is (at the very least) troublesome, imo.

Right let’s go out and lose on purpose. That number 3 overall pick will magically give us a team changing player and make everyone else good and make the coaches coach better and make Wentz stop sucking and increase morale. Right on poosy boy

The personnel around him is what has led to the 14-15 record, not Wentz himself.

Maybe he’ll try to go after two weeks

People seem so worried about the bottom-of-the-roster construction, as though any of these guys will make the difference between a W-L.  Gotta get him on IR so Deontay Burnett can get activated and put up 200 yards

Not worried about that at all. They can activate Burnett regardless. I was just wondering how they view Reagor's recovery time.

Ruggs/Reagor OUT. Jeudy likely out.

Maybe it's just hard to play as a rookie WR...

It really wouldn't make any sense for it to be any other reason. Why burn a roster spot AND a game he's missing anyway to just put him on IR next week?

So JJAW is actually better than DK Metcalf? And Sidney Jones was a good 2nd round pick?

We can count last season too, if you really want to go there.

Since his injury in 2017, Wentz has gone 14-15 with a 59 QBR.  Same QBR as Jameis Winston.

But jameis was never giving a second contract for big money.

Bucs accepted the fact he is who he is..look awesome one game, slop the next...and the turnovers.

5 years into the league , you are what you are.
