Again making up narratives I see. Got it. No I said last year at the end of the year it was fools gold that he and the eagles were playing as well as they were. They were playing three of the four worst teams in the NFL and that dallas a game we played an average team he had issues with his mechanics it wasn’t great. But yet again narratives you seemingly make up in your head are truly amazing

Please tell me how I should be so excited that Alshon Jeffery’s coming back when he hasn’t played in 10 months coming off a major foot injury where he might never be the same. Yup that sounds like a great plan there

I never said Winston was great. However Jameis Winston has had more success in the NFL then Sam Darnold since coming into the league. And it’s not even close. I would also add, the Jets had Adam gase as their head coach who might be the worst head coach I’ve seen in the last decade. So not only did you have bad quarterback play but also their atrocious head coach. The Bucs might’ve had a bad head coach but not nearly as bad as Adam gase has been in two places.

I don’t know what his stats looks like.  Again not even the argument. The argument is they would’ve been better off at wide receiver right now and going into the year with having Robby Anderson then going with the plan that they had. but if I were a quarterback and I had Robbie Anderson to throw to instead of JJAW I probably have more confidence making my throws and them being caught then having a guy who’s been a bust since day one

Dude, this guy thinks Cam is All Pro or MVP status with his 1 passing TD this season.

He clearly has no idea what he's looking at.

My guess is he's not 100%, which is affecting his mechanics and accuracy.  I also would guess he's getting frustrated and maybe confused by the mixed messaging he's getting from coaches.  I think fans always assume that the player/coach communication is as simple as 'coach tells player, player needs to listen to coaching'

The Eagles coaching staff and authority structure is a tiny bit confusing to me, especially on the offensive side:

Duce Staley -- Assistant Head Coach and RB Coach, Jeff Stoutland -- OL/Running Game Coordinator -- so, who has the final word that the RBs have to listen to?

Press Taylor -- Passing Game Coordinator/QB Coach, Rich Scangarello -- Sr. Offensive Assistant, Marty Mornhinweg -- Sr. Offensive Consultant, Doug Pederson -- Offensive Coordinator and person calling the plays during the game.

Most of us would assume Press Taylor is the guy coaching Wentz up during the week and between possessions on game day, and Pederson calls the plays in from the sidelines.  How much is Scangarello in Wentz's ear?  I don't know.  How much is Mornhinweg?  Probably none, but again, I don't know.  It's fair to say Wentz has some different voices in his ear this season and there just might be an adjustment period.  Press Taylor really has no resume or qualifications outside the Eagles organization (QB coach at Tulsa for a couple of years).  Tidbits of rumor from Philly media guys that Wentz isn't taking coaching well -- what if Taylor doesn't know what he's talking about?

they might not even be coaching his mechanics thinking he just needs a game plan and only been coaching up nate and jalen on mechanics , just my take on it. now they maybe believe they haven't been doing their jobs. you won't get that out of doug.

If I remember correctly from the old board it was kassanova king who got wasted on the old board midway through last year, bashed wentz and went on a nick foles tirade.

as for newton he’s played well. Better than i expected  Although shouldn’t be surprising as belichick adapts to what his personnel is better than anyone. Granted he also played the dolphins who stink and Seattle who’s got the worst pass defense in the league and probably is going to all season. I still think Wilson, Lamar and josh Allen have played better than cam (fairness Allen played the dolphins and jets)

Apparently not you as you continue to keep going on about how desean is amazing and would have similar stats to Anderson’s simply if wentz was better. Also you who doesn’t get how bad of a contract desean’s is because you decided to somehow say Anderson’s contract was not good even though it’s less of a hindrance future to his team. So i guess not everyone. Meanwhile someone gives you facts about him missing 1/3 of the offensive plays and you ignore it. We get it for some reason you still think this is 2016 with desean Jackson still being great (granted still a good receiver). So i guess you also like living in the past

Since we’re on the subject of "fantasy” football your great argument of stats where desean would have the same production (if not for Wentz) as Anderson is "fantasy” football. Because he doesn’t have it And the numbers are what they are. That didn’t happen either. but reality includes hypothetical stats

I stopped talking about DJax a few posts ago.

And nope, I didn't ignore the fact that he's missing 1/3 of the offensive plays.  I stated that despite that and the fact that Wentz is not targeting DJax enough, he's still on pace for close to 900 yards while averaging around 14 YPC.

The thing is, from just about every report we've heard, Wentz does his own thing.  If anything, it's what makes him very good at times but other times, can frustrate his coaches because Wentz likes to "fly by the seat of his own pants", so to speak.

And he's been in the league 5 years.  How much can you blame the coaches about the way a a 5 year veteran performs?  A rookie or 2nd year player? Sure.  A 5 year vet?  Not so much.

Yeah that’s cause they been your lame attempts at insults

But here’s a fun narrative since we like to use potential stats, despite bridgewater (has not played well either. he has 1 td and 2 ints through two games and is a game manager) not being a good QB so far this year and Anderson is their third option in that offense, he’s on pace currently for 1784 yards and 14.9 YPC. Maybe if bridgewater was a good QB he’d Be on pace for 2000 yards. It’s fun making things up to fit a narrative.

There might be too much mixed messaging, though.  Mahomes has a clear hierarchy of Reid, Bienemy, Kafka.  Lamar Jackson has Gregg Roman, then David Culley, then James Urban.  I think the Eagles have muddled theirs a bit too much.  I don't like the head coach also being the OC and play caller.  It might work for Andy Reid and Sean Payton -- but I don't think it works for Pederson.

Sure he's played ok.

He has 1 passing TD though.

Had a whopping 230 in total offense against Dolphins.

None of these things equate to MVP or All Pro.

Anyone throwing that out for being 1 and 1 with 1 TD and 1 INT is insanity.

I think Anderson is having a phenomenal year and I've already said that if he continues this pace, people will be second guessing whether or not we should have been more aggressive in trying to acquire him.

everyone got caught up with him going off passing against the Seahawks. Seahawks are awful on pass defense and were last year. I’m suspecting Dak likely goes for 350 or more against them as well. Matt Ryan had 450 yards and cam had 397. Might just be the Seahawks pass defense is trash.

Could be.

As far as Mahomes goes, pretty sure "he does his own thing" at times as well.  The major difference is that he's still capable of moving out of the pocket, avoiding rushes and making those "insane" throws we've also seen Carson make.

The main issue here...like we've discussed, is that for whatever reason, Wentz doesn't seem to be able to do that anymore...at least not on a consistent basis. 🤷‍♂️

Good thing they traded a fortune for a box safety

They're the same person. Just different names. He's done that for a bit now. Go on a drunken rant during gameday and then apologize about it a day or so later

Are you guys talking about me?  I'm right here, no need to talk in 3rd person.  Yeah, I have gone on a rant or two during the games and I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong.  And?

Also traded for diggs last year and he’s not been all that great this year. Pff has him at a 50.2 grade. Comparatively mcleod has a 71.6 and Mills has a 61.7

Adams is not much better than Mills at 65.9 and he’s been a safety his entire nfl career

?

I said he's playing at an "pro-bowl/all-pro" level after 2 games with Belichick and a solid offensive line.  (In comparison to being basically a backup QB option in the off-season)

How that equates to Cam being an "all-pro" I'm not sure.

The inaccuracy issue this year is more on Doug than on Wentz. This is clearly an issue of footwork/mechanics. There was a lot written about how Flip was constantly on Wentz about it until he fixed it in 2017. A couple of years later without Flip and Wentz back to the issue. A good coach would harp on him to fix it. Good guy Doug doesn’t want to offend anyone or hurt his feelings so he lets it go and this continues to get worse.
