I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case. He’s already had the pressure with Foles on the team and winning the SB. They finally make Wentz "the guy” for one year just to draft a QB in the 2nd the very next year. His confidence and mental makeup could very well be all over the place with the way this team has been handling the roster.

It's why the Hurts pick made so little sense from the jump.

Every starting QB gets a bit miffed when the team uses a 2nd on a backup/replacement.

Kind of human nature and shown throughout history.

People pretending this is something unique to Carson have agendas.

With his contract and guaranteed money,  he needs to suck it up, stfu, and play.  If he can't deal with them drafting Hurts, he's too soft mentally to be in the NFL.

Just watch it again, Goff is clearly between the hashmarks. You must not be watching the clip I provided. Here is a still shot of where he is when he throws the ball

Is that even a pass rush?  Are Barnett and Jackson looking for a screen?

WIP has been pining for Foles since he left, as have many here.

The takes of idiots is on another level.

Miami DE Jaelan Phillips is an early favorite for who I would love to see the Eagles nab in round 1.  Him or Jaylen Waddle.

So you want him to not be human.

Even Brady got upset and had some iffy games when guys drafted behind him that high.

You have zero clue of human psychology of the historical consistency of this happening to every QB or player when this happens.

Every Saturday college players make catch after catch that Eagles WR would only dream of making.  Waddle would instantly be our best WR if he suited up tomorrow.

I see that, but watch the beginnimg of the play, both feet outside the pocket, rolls back to the right hash.  That is not a pocket pass, that is designed movement. And look at.tje 3 offensive linemen in the still photo...

Jaylen Waddle would start for the Eagles tomorrow

Both insecure. If you just got a hundred million dollar contract, that was traded up and drafted 2nd in the draft for, are the starter, etc..etc.. and you get "upset" that the team drafted someone else, likely because you have serious injury history, then you are a insecure gutless preek.

He may or may not be upset but wouldn't you rather have a guy who can help you on the field rather than as insurance for you?

Would you not question what the plan is moving forward?

Human nature doesn't change based on money.

History shows this to be true WAY more than not, but go ahead and pretend it's different.

It's nothing but nonstop excuses for the guy.  If he can't hit the broadside of a barn because he's sulking that we took Jalen Hurts in the 2nd round, he's too mentally fragile to get us where we need to go.

Yup, and you have no agenda.

Exactly.....dude is more talented than both Foles and Hurts.  If he cant handle those 2 being his backups then he's not cut out to be an NFL QB mentally.

If I have an agenda because I no longer believe in Carson Wentz, then you also have an opposite agenda to apologize for Carson.

Explaining human nature is hardly apologizing but you do you.

Dont get me wrong. I love Wentz. Loved the pick, loved the promise and potential. I with nothing but the best for him. But..... I am seriously concerned that he just doesnt have "it"

What about every other player on the team?   We should excuse poor play because their possible replacements were drafted?   Or do we just coddle Wentz and tell everyone else to suck it up?

He's right though.

We've all seen Carson play at a high level even as recently as last year with practice squad WRs.  It's only been 2 games and chances are he will snap out of his funk.  But the flaws he's showing shouldn't be happening in year 5.

But if it's true that he's bothered by the Hurts pick or by Foles being his backup then he is mentally weak and not cut out to lead a franchise.  If that's the case........

I’d rather Ja’Marr chase if they are doing 1st round WRs back to back
